Relax and learn, I just picked up my Beatbuddy mini 2 and this video has been helpful. I've identified at least 20+ songs on the "song matching tool" list so far. So far, it's been pretty easy to get started. Thank you.

How do you know what song you are playing and what key your playing in

The beat buddy just plays the drum beats to stay in time. You can play any song you want in any key when you use it.

I would say if you are going to play out live then go with the pedal. But it works without the pedal. It basically makes it more hands free.

Just finished watching the replay. Very nice! I've used the pedal the last 2 days and it is indeed both useful and a lot of fun. I believe the fun that you are having with this drum pedal is contagious which is a good thing.

It’s my favorite guitar. D1-R bought new in 1998. You can find them used sometimes. Great guitars.

I wonder if you might be able to share a link or tell me the name of the little speaker you were playing through? I have an amp, but wouldn't want to haul it around to practice. VERY much appreciate it!

It is a small Doss soundbox Bluetooth speaker. Anything with a line in Jack should work alright.

I was just concerned, all the speakers I see online seem to be bluetooth and I think I want to plug this in from the beatbuddy. I guess most of the bluetooth stuff also have a line in jack?

Yep, you can plug a the guitar into it and then plug it into an amp. I was just playing through a speaker for the live video though. It works either way
