Thank you for amazing live stream for farewell of Qantas 767 Freight today Kurt and Tim. It's lovely to see final time Qantas 767 Frieght landing at Sydney Airport. I remember when I went on Qantas 767 when I went to Sydney back in 2009. I will going to miss Qantas 767 Freight, but I always go watch it on replay and memories of Qantas 767 Freight VH-EFR. Sad day, just like when the pax QF 767s retired. As a pax, you couldn't beat travelling in the 2-3-2 Y configuration of the 767. You could also feel the power and thrust of the 767 as it manoeuvred around in the sky. At least there are still quite a few 767s flying on the other side of the big pond in the USA. Would love to log a flight on a 767-400. My only known QF 767 flight was on "City of Parramatta" - booked a day trip SYD-MEL-SYD just to log a JQ 332 and any 767. Got VH-EBE (now QF freight 332) to MEL then swapped to a QF 737 for the return. I told the lovely QF rep about my trip and he was a legend and made sure I was flying back to SYD on a 767. Bye bye QANTAS 767, you have well and truly earned your retirement! ✈️✈️✈️

The 2 remaining 737 freighters will also be retired by the end of this financial year, bringing the very long Boeing freighter legacy to an end as Qantas transitions to an all Airbus freighter fleet.
