My Previous Review of this device • 🔴The FASTEST 5G MODEM ...
This is the fastest modem I have ever tested. Not just Download Speeds but Uplink speeds as well and the price rivals any modem/antenna combination on the market. Oh, and it is supported by an American reseller with great knowledge and a phone number to call should you have questions.

Thank you, Peter, I have gone ahead and pulled the trigger on this unit. I informed them that the reason I was buying it was because of you. I have T-Mobile and it has been great however lately the signal has been less than "Good" I have tried everything to try and get one of the new G4ar routers with the external ports. however, the only way I could do that would be to set up yet another account as well as pay $60/mo. which did not make any sense to me since I already have two units at $50/mo each. Have to use two because all the devices in my house prevent enough band with for my work laptop be perform like I need it to. Fingers crossed this unit solves all these issues (or at least most of them) Just wanted to say, Thank you, Rich

Thanks Rich. I am very anxious to know your experience. Please share it with us. Mine is working top notch and I am loving the BRIDGE mode support, no CG-NAT and my NetGear Orbi working the way it was designed to run. I have just turned on the 2.4GHz IoT network and now all my IoT devices from my vacuum to water pump are working well and with whole house coverage! Thanks for the heads up. Give Richard a call, he is a Wizard and will make sure to get you up and working 100%

What a beautiful location and interesting experiment. I can't believe places like this still exist on the west coast with the masses of people, guessing NORCAL? I love the comparison to starlink as that is what I've used for camping in the past. The good (debatable) thing about mobile Starlink is that you can turn it off and on at will. This means that you don't have to pay for service that's tough to start and stop. Most, certainly not all, wireless phone carriers tend to make this a bit more of a hassle. You need a nice telescoping pole for that antenna, maybe placed at the top of the cliff, seems like the signal quality would improve drastically and wifi should reach your campsite.

How does the on and off work? What if I want it on for two Saturday and Sunday per month? Is that possible?
@wishbone1138
@wishbone1138 2 месяца назад
@@Bryan-Hensley You can turn it off an on as much as you like, but you don't have that much control unfortunately. You can't pay for just a single day or weekend unless timing is in your favor and there is no ability to schedule your use in that way automatically. It's based on billing cycle. So you pay for (prorated) from the time of activation to the next billing cycle monthly date regardless of when you pause. Unfortunately if you need a date that goes beyond the next billing cycle date, you may end up paying for an entire month. Still I'd suggest it's far easier than starting and stopping services from a wireless career, but that's not the only thing to consider of course.

@@wishbone1138 yeah, I'm using US mobile's phone hotspot that has 50 GB of data which I don't use it all. However we camp at dirt bike endurance races that can be in the middle of nowhere. Many times a very weak signal. And many times good signal however with 100 plus dirt bike racer campers all streaming the Saturday night supercross off one single rural cellphone tower, you can guess what happens to the Internet speed.

It is NorCal. When I went up to Lassen National Park, recently 1,000,000 acres burned, StarLink was the only game in town and it saved the day. I got 25Mbps down and 5Mbps up.... that was good enough to save the day. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Pc4O9RUepTw.html I was a HUGE fan until I found the price. $120/mo!!! I am glad that you can turn it off and only use it when you are camping. It sounds like a great camping solution but less of a rural internet solution. Still, I am glad that they both exist. We need options!

The Yeacomm nr610 looks like it's got a better directional antenna. Why don't you compare the Yeacomm, Chester and this gateway?
@PeterC408
@PeterC408 2 месяца назад
I did compare it against the NR610 and there was no comparison. It got killed in the exact same location. Chester Cheetah wasn't as fast as the InvisaGig and that got beat by this thing. This is really a fast modem and it isn't just signal, its what it does with the signal it gets. I will drag out the NR610 and go head to head.... that should make it clear. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-hbt1ie2BA0s.html Take a look at this one compared to the NR610 at my location (+1M populated suburbs)

What kind of T-Mobile data plan sim where you using out there???
@PeterC408
@PeterC408 2 месяца назад
I put a T-Mobile Business Plan SIM inside. I have both a Home Internet SIM and a Business SIM. I am a BIG fan of T-Mobile Business accounts. 1. It works right out of the box 2. Their Business Plan allows for BYOD, so there is nothing nefarious going on here 3. It is on a DIFFERENT NETWORK (different APN) so it seems be be less affected by crowding. 4. It cost exactly the same amount If by chance, you have another SIM card reach out to Richard (Elsys Reseller) He puts the value in Value Added Distributor. Write to him for any technical pre-sales questions and upon purchase he even gives you his phone number. He is a Wizard and really gets 5G on a different level. info@thewirelesshaven.com

Would the waveform antenna help me boost my T-Mobile Home Internet speeds considering I am 7 miles from my tower and I am at the bottom of a hill?
@PeterC408
@PeterC408 2 месяца назад
Q: Would a pair of glasses help you see better? It is really the same question. It is more than distance or topography. Many towers now use beam-forming to point their signals certain directions so even having them in our sites make it difficult. Since you are at the bottom of a hill, it may be helpful to be so far away. They could be going for distance and shooting right over your head. Do you know for sure who has equipment up there? This Elsys device, will allow you to survey all signal from all 3 major providers and enable you to figure out who has the best signal for where you are (AT&T, T-Mobile and Verizon). This radio is your best chance at getting this signal because you have much more freedom of where to place it. Do you get any cell reception? We are trying to capture a sound that we can not hear, this Elsys will assist you in pointing at it. Just like a metal detector, you can hone in on the tower.

I wonder if I could pull my sims card out of my Mac laptop and put it into the Elsys for a T-Mobile cellular connection?
@PeterC408
@PeterC408 2 месяца назад
Earl, T-Mobile has some really aggressive plans. It is already pretty well priced. How much cheaper are you looking for it to be? It is more about being accepted for the tinkerers that we are instead of getting blackballed for going to the dark side. SIMs are usually only allowed on certain networks (APNs) and then they are probably locked to a particular IMEI. I didn't know Mac Laptops had a SIM but likely it is pretty well locked.

Peter 5g which are best bands to use?
@PeterC408
@PeterC408 Месяц назад
@@davidgrasscutter6545 It depends on location and signal strength. The best signal if you were close to a tower would be something like n77@3.7GHz but the best signal if you're out in the woods far away from any tower might be n71@600MHz.

I did and the story is quite compelling. In this video, I compare it against the Yeacomm NR610 which has been very good to us over the years, this new Elsys (was unnamed in this video) totally smoked it and in the same location. Over 40Mbps faster on the DL and over 100Mbps faster on the UL ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-hbt1ie2BA0s.html

@PeterC408
@PeterC408 2 месяца назад
This might be a good question for the reseller. No one wants to send someone something that doesn't work but once it has been used, it is no longer new. At this remote beach location, I loose cellphone signal 15 minutes before I get to the parking area and then I have to hike in a mile or so. I was shocked and surprised to get any signal much less good signal. It was quite usable. If you can get cell signal close to your house but just not at your house, this will likely be a slam dunk but if you don't know anyone in the county that can use a cellphone, than you may be too remote.

@wirelesshaven (the reseller) has a pretty specific return policy on their website. To summarize, no...there is no free trial. There is a MINIMUM 10% re-stocking fee, in addition to whatever wear and tear they deem.

I have a Waveform MIMO antenna with a Tmobile sims card. My problem is not receiving a signal but experiencing slowdown during the :5;pm to 8 pm hours when home internet is de-prioritized. I do not believe this would sole that problem. Is that not correct?
@h2oskiier30
@h2oskiier30 2 месяца назад
I don't imagine this will fix your problem if you're getting good speeds at "off-peak" times. Agree with you that it sounds like you're being throttled/deprioritized. TMHI has the lowest priority on their towers. The only way I could see this product helping is if you were able to reach a tower you currently cannot access that doesn't have nearly the traffic that your current one does. Peter's much more of an expert than I am, however, so maybe he'll chime in.
@PeterC408
@PeterC408 2 месяца назад
First off, thank you for the question. I would like to mention that you are not being actively "deprioritized"; all of us home internet users have a lower priority on the phone carriers network because it is a phone network first and foremost. When someone asks their phone to "Call Mom", it needs to react fast. The reason it feels that you being punished at that time is due to network traffic in your area. Just like rush hour traffic, if you area is impacted by traffic you will feel a slow down. This modem can help. Not only will you get a better signal and will be impacted less by a slowdown but you can pickup different BANDS and just like taking "a secret freeway" you can side step traffic. I have noticed that 5G SA configurations give me better download and upload speeds all the time, but network loads can still be felt.... even still I never drop below 300Mbps. This modem could quite possibly change everything for you. T-Mobile is working hard to balance the load on their networks, that is why it is so difficult that many are lying about their location and choosing to travel with these devices. As much as I salute their freedom, they are screwing things up for other good customers. If it is not available in your area, there is a good reason why!

@PeterC408
@PeterC408 2 месяца назад
Of course I can't tell the future but I think this is silly. I've been a T-Mobile customer for 15 years and they've always honored their agreements and never raise prices. I understand for customers like me that have had accounts for 15 years they're finally going to raise prices on old accounts but that's after 15 years. This isn't their style at all. $80? That's not going to happen

Water can be tricky. It's not as easy as it looks. To be honest, I am not sure where these frequencies are coming from. I lose signal when going to this beach 15 minutes before I get there. I was shocked and thrilled to get any signals much less usable ones. I was doing WiFi calls.

I am going to take it on the road some more, to where the signals die and then see if I can get them back with this unit. I might even bring along the NR610 to see what it can do in comparison. I think likely Elsys will walk away the performance leader and Yeacomm the price leader.
