Yes! Pine cones! There are so many shapes and sizes where I live and after 30 years of crafting I’m out of ideas. (On the first project I’d add strands of pearls or lace like garland 😉). My oldest son’s birthday is in December. My ex was a carpenter. At his birthday parties his step dad cut out wooden shapes. The kids at the party decorated them with all types of glues and craft supplies I had out for them. My son is now 37 and a dad and I still have most of those wooden Christmas crafts from all those birthday parties. Loved this video Casey. Thanks ❤️🎶
Hey Judith!! Great idea to add the lace and pearls! You have the best ideas! OMG I Love that! That is such an awesome fun project for kids to decorate the wood shapes. They would last forever! I wish my kids were still young. Maybe one day we can do that with our grandkids😍💖
@@coffeewithmysunshine2506 I do crafting with my 4 1/2 yr old grand daughter all the time. Now she’ll do it herself on her table and chairs I got her with her boxes of craft supplies. Yep. I train them young. Lol. ❤️
Hi Casey, I just love repurposing old wood pieces. And this project is perfect for it. If your viewers say they don't have any scrap wood, tell them to look around for free pallets! Those usually come nice and bleached and worn! We used free pallets to do an accent wall in our living room. It turned out amazing. and it was free!
I recently got a small electric jigsaw and have gotten pretty comfortable with it, but the trees were intimidating! I am dying for some Christmas trees to be cut! Thank you for sharing this video and giving me the guts to go for it!! Thank you for all your inspiration!!
