Been to Puerto rico and amadores stayed in Gloria Palace twice beautiful hotel have fun guys 👍puerto mogan is beautiful worth a day visit popular with Dutch and German tourists

Frequent visitor to both Tenerife and Gran Canaria. I always stay at Anfi when in GC - we’ll worth a visit. Puerto Rico is great for entertainment. Both commercial center where you are now, and at the europa centre on top of the hill. You have to visit Puerto de Mogán - it’s the prettiest place on the island. Take the ferry and enjoy the views.

No "cow shop" Laura. Aaah. Love that shop too. Up stairs opposite Shamrock Bar very good . We always enjoy it. Several good restaurants in that centre. Mogan Mall so close. Hope you enjoying it all.

Brilliant vlogg we went many years ago an we were staying right up at the top . My husband didn't have a shirt on an so we couldn't get inna cab . So we had to walk up trillions of steps back to the top. Glad u enjoyed ur trip we stayed 2 weeks an it was a lovely place xx

We went to Gran Canaria and stopped in Puerto Rico in the 90s and travelled the island and loved it, I do remember walking through the park to the commercial centre which was very large with lots of bars (Linikers) and restaurants, there is another centre way up the top of the hill (taxi ride away)must say how much it has changed. Looks really nice especially on the beach front and around the harbour. Also been to Fuertaventura and Lanzarote but Tenerife is our favourite for 25 yrs+ by miles. Enjoy your break away

Hi Andrew & Laura , Welcome go Gran Canaria, hope you both have a fab time here , We visited Tenerife 2 weeks ago for the first time in 15 yrs and had a wonderful time and yes you will see the Islands are quite different but I love them both , my favourite place on the island is Mogan , I live in Maspalomas the dune’s are stunning and you get some fantastic sunsets 🌅 Meloneras is also very nice , Love the fact it only takes 30 mins to Island hop and it’s so easy , we will be visiting Tenerife again next year hope to bump into you both again 👍❤️

Love Gran Canaria been there 4 times now all in Puerto Rico stopped at Ocean Hill twice near the Europa Centre up the hill,twice at Servatur Casablanca suites near the Commercial Centre down the bottom but Lanzarote is my favourite Matagorda is a lovely place to stay,have fun exploring Gran Canaria

Hi guys,great live from gran canaria and it's funny as living in tenerife you'd think it was the same but glad to hear you thought it was quite different,only been once and that was back in 1996 and I remember getting there at lunchtime and went straight to the beach and walked all along the waters edge for miles but never put suncream on and spent the next 3 days in bed as couldn't walk😬🙈that's a valuable lesson learnt I can tell you,definitely think you should do all the islands if you can,cheers🙂👍

36:48 San Miguel restaurant is really nice. Also recommend an ice cream from the spar near the beach. We stayed in marina suites on the harbour. Gran Canaria by far the best canary island imo

We went to Gran Canaria for or wedding anniversary last year. Syaed in Playa Del ingkes but on the day, we got a bus to Peurto Morgan, then coming back we got the ferry to Peurto Rico and had lunch overlooking the harbour.

We used to stay at The Marina Suites Hotel at Puerto Rico in Gran Canaria - lovely. Also, try and do the Amadores Walk along the coast. It starts just to the left of where you started your blog. Takes you to Amodores beach (obvs) but other beaches to pass as well. Definitely take the little ferry (20 mins approx) to Puerto Mogan - YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED.

We went to Tenerife twice,25 years ago,also Lanzarote once, and have been to Puerto Rico over 50 times, Guess which island is our favourite?Have you checked out our favourite beach Amadoras, the sand is crushed coral I believe,it doesn't burn your feet,we watched them build it. John and Dawn.xx

Andrew and Laura - on the left of the road along the front there are a series of steps (about 600!!) Which will take you to the top of the hill for the fantastic views and a big shopping centre called the Europa centre😁😍

Brilliant vlog Andrew and Laura we were in Tenerife a few weeks ago for two weeks and had a great time. When we got back we were discussing trying Gran Canaria Puerto Rico but didn't know much about it so your vlog has been really informative. Would love you to do other resorts on the island.

Lovely in Puerto Rico stayed there back in 2016 in hotel on the hill , taxi down as couldn’t manage that hill , Puerto Morgan is lovely too Amodores beach is really nice the other way to what your walking 👍😊

Just watching now. Rio Piedras is our spot in November 3 minutes to beach. . A great restaurant up by pool. Don't be dissapointed and book a table. Love the beach there. Walk over to Amadores beautiful. Nice up at New Mogan Mall in Puerto Rico.

Hi Andrew & Laura, glad to see you venture over to Gran Canaria. Great Greek restaurant you passed at the start of the vlog by the marina, Rhodos Palace. If you want a stroll, take a wander along from the marina to Amadores beach 15 minutes away on the coastal path. We go there rather than Puerto Rico beach. Great Indian, Happy Valley in the commercial centre. Looking forward to your vlogs on the island. 👍

Love that you went to GC for one day! Only been to Tenerife of the Canary Islands, and been there 19 times the last 23 years. The island of my heart. It's about time I try the other ones as well, but only for a day or two with Tenerife as our base. I think there are most Scandinavians in GC, and mostly Brits in Tenerife. Also been to Mallorca, and there are all the Germans 😂

Stayed in the hotels at the the top in the past stunning views. When I was 37yrs old I used to run Marathons so I would run from the beach to the very top back to the hotel we were staying at. 👍😁🎅🎄X

Love gran canaria stayed at Rui vistamar right at the top of the cliff , beautiful hotel also stayed at tui blue suite princess in Taurito another beautiful hotel but a bit isolated. Only stayed in tenerife one following a cruise stayed in the North, playa de last cruz hotel Las Vegas catalonia , weather wasn't great but would definitely return to both islands xx is it best in the south ?? I went to Majorca in 1996, I been trying to go back with Jez but fate has been against us, 2020 and 2021 lost it to covid, then this year had to cancel due to my breast cancer. Booked for next Yr 4th time lucky.

Puerto Rico is where I go every year. Absolutely love it. Nice chilled vibe but still loads to do, eat and drink. Problem is everyone seems to have realised how great it is lol. I can’t get a room at my favourite hotel until October next year because it’s fully booked 😢
