As one immediate suggestion though I would highly recommend updating the firmware on your PTZOptics camera as this sounds like it might be an old bug that has since been resolved. The easiest way to do this is to create PTZ presets with a PTZOptics camera connected to vMix with PTZ controls. PTZ control in vMix require vMix Max or 4K or Pro. Anyway, you can also use the free PTZOptics App.
