You've succeeded. In truth, if it weren't for you, my knowledge of these empires and fascinating dynasties would be minimal. May be a big ask, but I would ask to be pointed to a video or a community post on your book recommendations. Your Researching a Difficult Topic video certainly helped. I'd rather not get a book that has themes like primitive tribes or helpless damsels.

A historian, whether they cover something as popular as Rome or benign as a lost flower language, must be praised for efforts and success. The strength, skill, and will to look for true history of a people's achievements. Deeds, men and warriors. God and laws, territories and might. Do justice to it all great king.
I think the whole Hannibal Barca being black or not black does not matter in the grand scheme. I think Hannibal was a giant figure in ancient African history and it's left to interpretation as to what he looks like. I think what mattered more was his deeds. He was a great military hero to the Carthegenian people but a great scourge to the early Italias will never forget him. Forever will they remember Hannibal. Is Hannibal black? Who knows. Admire your heros not for their skin color, but for their character. Especially in times of great difficulty. I think my favorite quote from Hannibal was his interaction with his men before the battle of Cannai. Where one of his men Named Gisco stated "There are so many Roman!" Hannibal also stating "yes there are, and not a single one among them is named Gisco." That statement to this day still makes me laugh. My point is to have heros you can look up to not "only" because of their skin color but because they are truly "Heroic".
Can't wait for the next upload I hope everything is going better, and I really hope we get more alternate history videos, like what if africa and not china discovered gunpowder first. But also can't wait to see what other vids you have on african history
It censored the word Emperor? I was not aware that was a slur lol. Anyway good to see progress on the game. I was not expecting it to have a battle system like Fire Emblem but that can be good too I played a couple of tactic games before. Theres a number of artworks in this gameplay footage that I hadn't seen in previous videos of the game maybe I'll do another video about this game sometime.
Yeah all I can think of is that maybe the word Emperor was recognized incorrectly by the AI or very closely rembled a bad word in a different language. And yeah the combat system,I'm not really a fan of that in an MMO. MAYBE a simple turned based system at the worst but not this chess type deal.
Ngl this game doesn't seem that interesting I like how it's inspired by african culture but the actual game seems kind of boring The graphics aren't that good but I think that's excusable since from my understanding MMO games never really have very good graphic anyway, plus graphics aren't everything The combat doesn't seem that fun and the collecting of resources might become tedious I guess it's also not my preferred type of game I do hope the game succeeds and improves
I agree honestly. Also nowadays most MMOs do have decent graphics. I attribute these to either the early stage of development, a stylistic choice, or to make the game more conducive to low end PCs and mobile devices. So maybe African consumers might have a chance to run the game on low end tech.
