This channel's purpose is to teach and discuss African history and promote its presence in the education system and media such as games, movies, and TV shows, more specifically, Sub-Saharan African history. Africa has a rich and interesting history yet it is often ignored and neglected and pushed aside as irrelevant to the rest of the world's history. Most of the views and perceptions of the continent are largely negative due to centuries of racism as well as the modern state of Africa. I intend to change that by showing that Africa was once much more than it is today in the form of documentary style videos and animated mapping videos.

The land was occupied by the black skin people and nothing discriminatory about that. To understand the history of how they made North Africa white and now the new project is East African Sudan. Africa was flourishing for millenia before the advent of European colonialism. Hundreds of kingdoms have risen and fallen over 5,000 years of recorded African history, with kingdoms emerging from the savannah, forest, Sahel and Maghrib, from the Black dynasties of Ancient Egypt (yes there were!) and Nubia to Buganda, including the Great Lakes area from Burundi to Uganda and South Sudan, and the West African Sudanic empires which lasted for 1,000 years. Black people don't need revisionist afrocentric pseudo-history when there's so much **real** history to explore! There's actually been trade between East Africa and Asia pre colonial times dating centuries back. There's evidence the Benin people immigrated from East/central Africa to west Africa through the River Nile. So who knows, maybe there was a link
Now this is not a linguistic similarity, just want to point out what Leo Frobenius said in his book. He described the way the Yorubas especially Oyo build their houses and he said the floor plans were similar to one another. Just thought it was weird. Probably just a coincidence though
