The huge HUGE force of Benidorm was its always cheap and very affordable prices and fares in every areas! Now everything rose up at minimum 20/30%, Benidorm is getting less and less interesting :(

Benidorm is getting to expensive. If you go to Bali for 2 weeks in a 4 star hotel, including flight and breakfast then it is cheaper then to go to Benidorm for the same time. (Expedia) Then also drinks and food is way cheaper. At the end you have a cheaper vacation with less crowded beaches and a more relaxed atmosphere. Sorry Benidorm, its not worth the money anymore.

i was told by a Spanish government rep over 6 years ago what was going to happen re tourists and everything he said has and is coming true only rich tourists are wanted

That is not true, tourists who don’t cause fights & drunk issues, are wanted, doesn’t mean they have to be rich. Prices did go up everywhere though, in all countries, we’ve seen it this year ourselves

That information about rich tourists was also circulated by restaurant owners to us in the Canaries …those that have money don’t take their holidays in Spain they can afford the Maldives, the Caribbean Dubai Italy etc …. Spain needs to be very careful… next years figures will show a reflection and a massive loss to their economy..
