Few things I like about this episode is that N has kind friends, and Silver interacting with his father. Unlike Ghetsis, Giovanni kinda has a soft spot for his son. In the Adventures manga, Giovanni cares about his son Silver. The purpose for this chapter was to show us that not all villains are heartless. Although Giovanni is a villain, that doesn't mean he's completely heartless, such as having soft spot for his son. Even though Silver hates his father and probably ashamed of being the son of Team Rocket's leader. Ghetsis however is always pure evil, never accepts N as family and always see him as freak without a heart. At least that's my observation.
What makes me hate Ghetsis is his god-complex. All he cares about is godhood and nothing else. He is literally Satan incarnate. He thinks of himself as a god and refuses to believe that he is just a mere human.
20:25 that word « Resonate » made me realize one thing... Nate and Rosa name if combined together sound like Resonate, pretty much like their Japanese name, Kyouhei and Mei Kyoumei is Resonate why didn’t I realise that before
I'm glad they didn't try to downplay or redeem Ghetsis (especially after how Sycamore downplayed Lysandre's actions in the Give and Take event), and that Ghetsis will always be a heartless old prick.
I liked the parts with Giovanni showing up and being the Magnificent shit bag to Ghetsis's colossal shit bag. And how Giovanni reacted to Silver standing up to him was gold! (A lot of us might have had a mind to settle for watching Giovanni kick Ghetsis a new one. N's too good for the world.)
I agree! If that was me, I don't wanna help Ghetsis either. That monster doesn't deserve be redeem. After what he'd done to N, people, and Pokémon, Ghetsis deserve be hated. At least Ghetsis got arrested in the anime and manga. 😊
Eh, I give Sycamore's downplaying a pass. He misses his old friend, that can be quite a hard thing to overcome Plus the fact that Lysandre tried the same plan _three times_ tells me he may not be all... _there,_ so Sycamore may hold hope that Lysandre snaps out of it Not saying he's _right_ about Lysandre, just that I can see _why_
I feel for N deeply. He deserved better than this. All he wanted was an actual father-son relationship, despite Ghetsis not being his real father, and Ghetsis just dumped him like he was nothing! I can see why he is called the most evil man in all of Pokemon. I understand how N feels. I've been down that path too, my dad used me like a tool and manipulated me. I hated him for it. I feel for Silver too. He is right about living without a father. I left my dad for 2 years now, never spoke to him at all since. It was the best decision I've ever made. I'm glad N chose that too.
I'm so sorry to hear that ... And you I imagine you see yourself in N and in Silver ... It's such a shame that men are like that, even while manipulating their own children ... Meme if deep down, Ghetsis maybe loves N like his son, but does not show it, it is as if he wanted to reject his fatherly love for him (yet I have the impression that Ghetsis feels at least a bit of 'fatherly love, I don't know why) And for Giovanni, it is clear that he is less terrible than Ghetsis, even if the relationship is quite bad, Giovanni feels a bit of pride in his son.
@@Elisa010-o2c In the final chapters of Pokemon Adventures’s Black 2 and White 2 Chapter Arc: N tried to change Ghetsis’s evil ways, but the Plasma Boss of course denied this wish by hitting N in the face with his Plasma cane, because he has no interests of redemption. In the end, he’s send to jail with Colress. As the International Police decided to release Colress and assign the power-obsessive scientist to Alola Region to settle and relax for himself.
@@Elisa010-o2c I just wanna add on: in the manga, Colress at some point mentions paternal love to Ghetsis and Ghetsis says he never had any of that for N from the beginning. that, and Ghetsis going fucking insane and wrecking N’s shit with his staff because the poor dude said he still loved him as a father
I LOVE THIS EVENT, the roles that silver played, the role that alder played. It all worked out so well i love it, poor N, silver even came and faced his father too, I see what masters did there in the first segmant when they put norman and breandan toghether like i said i love this event so much.

What I would have given for one of Ghetsis' classic freakouts from being beaten. That's what I liked about him. If he lost, he didn't concede. He'd still look to win. Even if it meant taking your life. I liked that about his character. You GENUINELY felt in danger around this man, unlike the other villains.
Silver and N together is awesome! Both are sons of evil leaders and both were bad at first, but changed their ways as they grew closer to Pokemon thanks to the help of the protagonists.

It’s really crazy how this series touches on father son relationships. Now of days they are so particular and I feel like this event touches on them perfectly. Amazing.
This is the only time that I'll ever despise having Ghetsis as my sync pair even though he is one of the strongest ice type sync pair. I also love to see that Nate shares his feeling with N while showing his hatred toward Ghetsis. Nate really shows his true nature and live up to his own name, with a heart that resonates with others.
N was first raised by wild Pokémon that was how he got the ability to understand Pokémon. Ghetsis took him under his wing for many years only for him to use him for his own plans
That hit me in my Gen 5 Unova loving heart so much...It gave me a window to see what a kind person Ghetsis vould be if he tried and what kind of relation he and N could have if he just stopped. I still think that there's a chance...A slight chance...that he could change. Proba not, but it never hurts to dream.
Kyurem does fit Ghetsis. A cold hearted man that doesn't know empathy. Very similar how Kyurem lost both light and darkness and he did do something brutal in the Mystery Dungeon games
“Dang, N, how come you get to have 2 caring boyfriends who only wish for the best for you?” But yea, this story was really sad. All of N’s stories so far have been really sad. It was so heartwarming to see Alder say N has become more human now. He’s more of a father than Ghetsis ever was.
I love seeing Alder become like an Actually Good paternal figure for N. like, N even accidentally calls him “gramps” at one point in the b2w2 manga. that’s so wholesome.

Team Yell isn't a team. It's stan culture. Piers is not a villain. He was just trying to help his sister. As for Guzma, we all know Team Skull wasn't after a legendary anyways, but that's not the real reason he doesn't have one. He doesn't have one because he IS the legendary. That's how badass he is.
That is true, Guzma does help the player character in the Rainbow Rocket episode. Piers also helps both player and Hop in the post-game, and Wyndon. What you say is true, both Piers and Guzma are legendary Trainers. It's true, Team Yell aren't really villains. Although back then, I didn't know Marnie had an older brother until the games were leaked in early November of 2019. 😅

I think it's funny that even though the rosa is the protagonist in bw2 its the nate who stars in this story, just like Hilbert, but different from him, he was a main character in BW
They are trying to evenly split the story to both mc and femc. E.g Ethan isnthe player but Lyra despite having Marill is the one who battle Red. Same goes witg Elio and Selene. Seems like no one is fully rival or fully mc either
Giovanni gave the closest thing he can to affection, to Silver, for standing up to his old man. This is a contrast to all the stuff Ghetsis said and done to N.
Pokémon Adventures’s Silver and Giovanni are on a good term way since the middle of the near-ending moment of the FRLG Chapter Arc. Although, the Rocket Boss is happy to accept his son as his ultimate arch-rival in the middle of the end of the HGSS Chapter Arc
i just think it’s very suspicious that Ghetsis managed to conveniently find an orphaned/abandoned child that looks somewhat like him deep in the woods with an ability he could use for his plans...

But as N and Ghetsis said, they are not related by blood, Ghetsis only heard the rumor of a strange child able to talk to the Pokemon as soon as possible. his birth, people were afraid of N, it's explained in BW and BW2 games, if he was abandoned it was because of his power, and that's how Ghetsis found out about the existence of N
Ghetsis, Pryce, and Leaf are gonna be insane together! Can’t wait to try out this team with all of them invested fully. Their going to be unleashing fierce arctic hypothermic winds and glaciers that will make frostbite consume any opponents from the inside out!🤣🤣😭😭
I know this may seem highly unlikely but imagine if Ghetsis is the biological father of Nate. I mean like said it may seem so illogical but think about it. Ghetsis' past, How it would affect Nate if he were to find out and how it would be sickening if that were to be true. Let me know in the comments section.
