Glad my videos are helping. Don't worry about resubmissions. As long as you read the feedback and provide what they request, you will be fine. I also had to resubmit all my assignments but still got a Pass B.
Hi Martin where are your lesson planning and delivering videos plz can you post how to deliver a speaking and listening lesson with on a topic “your best friend “
Hi sir thank you so much for sharing this document with us in order to put us in the picture about written assignments, however there are some questions I should ask. 01-what are the subject matters of written assignments? 02-do tutors give us time to do written assignment to check in reference books ? 03- what about written assignments sequence? Is it one per week ?
A good question and I’ll answer these queries in a future video. However, to answer your first question only. As mentioned in this video, you are only analysing and comparing language. I’ll also be looking at the other assignments in a future video. Thanks for the comment.
Thank you so much Sir, your video has been great. I am going to take the Celta course soon, so assignments are a mixture of language (grammar) and methodology, right?
Thank you so much! I am gping to start my course next week, quite nervous. I thought every writing assignment will be 800 words long, but what you showed is that just like a …. longer question but not write a long article?
I just to ask you, being the expert here, your first assignment had more than one grammar topic, right? So ,I don't have to stick to one topic like present or past simple for example, I teach a bundle of different grammar usage
@@ELTExperiences Thank you so much for appreciating me. Resubmission of assignments won't get someone the passing-grade s/he wants. In fact, I prepped in advance and spent the month with no single drop on my forehead while completing all the assigned jobs during the 'CELTA' course.
@@englishwithmuzammal3596 Well, aren't you just wonderful? I'm sure that you realise already - considering how thoroughly you prepared -, that employers don't really care what grade you get; what matters most is that you actually passed the course, full stop. But you didn't need me to tell you that, did you?
Many thanks, I have BA in Linguistics and I'm planning to go through CELTA next year, do you think it would be easier for me and what should I focus on? Lastly, can students fail CELTA and why?
Hello Mohamed. Thanks for your comment. The course is challenging but as you have studied Linguistics, it may help with the analysis of language for the assignment. However the other aspects of the course is still intensive and you will challenged with other aspects. Good luck.
@@zobiscookbook5396 it will still be accredited, and whether it is full or part time doesn't matter, as it won't appear on your certificate or transcript (nor will the online/in person details be),
I believe that on a CELTA, irrespective of the location, English as a Lingua Franca would be recommended. If you decide to teach American English, then just remain consistent. However, there is no correct variety of English. Teach the English that you know and feel most comfortable with. I hope that helps.
Can i please what grade did you get ? Pass A or B or pass? Because i am on my online course and i already had to resubmit two assignments and i am terrified of failing I was really hoping for a CELTA A but can i still have a CELTA B at least?
Mr Muhammad Abouelez I like my colleagues, but I wish the participation of the tutors would be more active, however, I appreciate what they do for us. I like that course except for several things.
