What a lifesaver! Amazing and clear tutorial!! This issue was really driving me insane! I had the same port code required for my issue as well. You've earned my like and subscribe for sure! Thank you!!!
For audience, if you want to export anything in Bridge, first you need to download the item. Only then export function becomes active. Good Video. Liked n subbed!
I know I have to download it first but when I clock download literally nothing happens. It just won't let me download the damn fucking thing what the fuck
Thanks so much for this. Also, your very calm and clear explanations helped me destress while everything wasn't working whilst I was on a deadline. Legend
Thank you so much i really like how you anticipate all the little question that the viewers can have and all the subtilities and the problems we can have
waooooooow!!!! I had to close, open my blender install, then close again et do the same process fews times (4/5) and now it's works!!!!! Many thanks !!!!!!!
Good evening ! And thank you for this great tutorial! explained in detail and simply! no surprises! I got there with no problem! looking forward to following you! thanks again
Thank you so much for a great explanation as well as the plugin on the website! omg this took me so long to get to work on blender 4.0. I appreciate the heads-up about what we may encounter when setting up the assets and materials as well. THX!
I love you, you saved me. The guy I was watching literally didn't explain ANY of this. He made it seem as if it works out the gate by just making sure you select Blender, and magic happens to get it to connect lol
You have no idea how much should I thank you, It was a big problem for me for a really long time but you have solved all the problems related Bridge and Blender. The zip folder and error parts have acutally been solved. Thanks a tone man :) Incredibly useful video You should name it a trouble shooter video LoL But Thanks :)
Great video thanks for running through all the error cases and explaining the addon has the texture issue. I went back to 3.0 to use the addon to save on that fuss. cheers
Thank you so much. Blender is both fun and a lot to learn. But I like to play with it now and then. This was very helpful! I haven't tried it yet; and I will watch how you fix the image mappign several times before I try it myself! At least I know what you're doing! So, thanks again for that! This will make world building fun again! :-)
Only a year and a half later and Unreal has blocked most of what's shown here. All the same, thank you for sharing this information. It's very well said.
How does this compare to using USD files to transfer geometry between Unreal and Blender? I think that USD would keep the materials of each software too without having to make any manual changes. .
Thank you. My textures aren't loading when I download them from Bridge. The created material is blank, only a Principal BSDF but no textures. Any suggestions?
I don't know if this is a new thing, but I just signed into Quixel with my Epic account and downloaded textures. Then I used them normally in Blender. Applied with the node wrangler addon, and all maps attached correctly to the Principled BSDF, with no need to switch connections for roughness and normal. No bridge, no Quixel addon. It worked fine. Is there something I should be aware of that makes the bridge and addon method better, or is this no longer an issue?
