I’ve been watching videos all morning of the heroic acts of your fellow countrymen. Men and women risking their own lives by jumping into fast moving water to save their neighbours, it brings a tear to my eyes. Would rather have stagalon found on Old Henry’s or just plain dyed or undyed, jigged or smooth bone handles/scales. As spectacular as the etching is on that Remington canoe, I’d like it better plain. I use my knives and I would hate to mess that etching up . The knives that I came upon that have etching are in my trade pile. Great video Sir, as Captain of the canoe crew you got a phenomenal collection. By the way those two muskrats you showed are terrific. Thanks again HT !!!

Nice armada of canoes, brother...I have one coming in the mail too. The pine case...definitely looks more like a fossil of a fish vertebrae or one of those odd centipede looking creatures from the past...still cool though...prayers up for all once again facing such a severe storm...Jim

If I would admit to my druthers, I like the Queen ACSB (American cut stag bone) that they use and the Case XX 6.5 Bone Stag most of the time. Others not as much though if I check there may be exceptions.

Buck 389 has 420(J) blade steel. You should be clear about the RR bone stag, it doesn't look like that when you get it..... it is better dyed than your example , if you received that knife in that condition it should have been returned the examples I own in RR bone stag look much better.

@anthonyrollins9825 the Cinnamon Bone Stag series is notorious for washing off with simple cleaning under plain running water. I have several in the series, Anthony, and the ink has been poor on all of them. And... there are others in t b e community that have had similar problems with HBD them. If u are satisfied with their look and that has not been your experience, that is fantastic. Thx for the feedback ...👍✌️

@anthonyrollins9825 My point is even brand new, this series loos nothing like real stag. And...if u give your handles any sort of cleaning u will have a mess. The ink they used on this series did not take well in the bone and easily comes off with useage and cleaning...
