😍Are the Final Fantasy Pixel Remasters Worth It In 60 Seconds?

@@SurferKroky haven't been on the grind for awhile so still on the 3rd one. 2nd one was a pain because I had to redo the entire game just for 1 chest in a area that's a one time thing.

Yeah, I watched a video from @NintendoLife that said they left out the bonus content that was added on the GBA version of FFII. While I wish it had been added, I still think these versions are well worth the money, even if only for the live orchestral versions of the soundtracks, not even mentioning all the quality of life additions.

@@tonyshaw581 I 100% agree that they are worth it for preservation and for orchestral ost, but if I want to play II, IV, or V I'm choosing one of the more recent releases because the bonus content adds to the plot or adds in a meaningful way.

Why in god's name are you willingly subjecting yourself to Final Fantasy 2

​@svetlanarebane ff2 actually isn't that bad once you know how and what to level up. I used to hate it too, but then I saw a video about how to get overpowered at the beginning. I didn't follow the video exactly, but I took the advice from there to find enjoyment in the game.

Yeah, Soul of Rebirth was interesting.

VI is great. Just played it last month for the first time. Great story and very fun combat system and game mechanics. I will play V next since it seems to have a very fun gameplay. I didn't enjoy the other games too much for different reasons. Anything before and after V - VII are just not for me. But considering there are 16 entries that are different, it's unlinely that you will like all of them. But it also means there should be games for everyone.

Console boost makes it playable at least. Shut off encounters by mysidia and you get easy holy once you can afford it lol. I think only ff6 benefits more as it brought back original music, buffed edgar's chainsaw (kills regenerating undead) and setzer fixed dice (turn off encounters and get first thing kefka's tower and level like crazy for stat bonuses and more damage) and added vocals for the opera songs which you need youtube to view in all languages (no cutscene viewer). Ff5 will just have everyone master everything easier. Cyan with his 8th lecel bushido runs over everyone for random encounters though he's slow and useless otherwise.

How do you pull the boosters up? Which key do you press? Is it because I'm on steam and not console?

@@bozomaster69420 its in the settings in you main menu that the characters are in edit, not sure if steam will have this option

@@bozomaster69420 This is a couple of months late but the patch today added the boosts to the steam versions. They're in the bottom 1/4 of the configuration menu.

Would have been a really nice edition for sure. :)

I'm all for FF Tactics being next, but we're still waiting on word there.

@@GingerPrimeGaming No. It'd be my wish for what's next. Not being able to play it anywhere is driving me crazy.

@@skylineg6618 its on pc STEAM and you can emulate it with better graphics and such. I did it the other week on Nds emulator for the first time with filters to give it a very nice HD look and it was amazing.

Yeah, I have that version... but I would love more love put into the classics and hopefully the pixel remasters sell well so we can see more of that.

Yeah, considering you can play any version of just about any FF game online for free if you reaaaly wanted to.

You can buy them individually or all as a package.

@@GingerPrimeGaming I saw you can get a physical copy for the switch but I looked and its pricey

enjoy the trip! and yes SE could of added the bonus content from the previous versions. hell SE could of given us psp's 3 and psp's/nds 4's for variety sake. its sad because i'd love to have this but it's not worth the price in its current form. maybe one day they will surprise us. until then imma stick to the versions before these. psp/ds all the way. plus the only thing i really want them for is the platinum them on ps4/5. i cannot justify the price for trophies lol.
