As a cov fan, I would love to see Us facing Man City even though I know deep down what the result might be but I know for a fact cov will give it their all!. Best of luck againts Man U 💙👏
Yeah I mean we scored against them within a minute of last season’s FA cup final so… Shame, wish we were playing Coventry that way it would’ve actually been a contest
Maguire tried to characterise it as a freak comeback, which was completely disingenuous. United have done this time and time again this season. I say this as a United fan, about 4 players aside, I despise this group. Just a bad bunch of professionals. Ten Hag's time is undoubtedly up now but to capitulate in that manner time and time again, in positions of complete control is on the lads playing as much as the man in the dugout.
@@NewErrors At least Fernandes pointed out that United have been rubbish all season and looked downbeat. Maguire acting like he can't understand why it happens consistently is irritating. He's the CB for god sake.
Ole stated on the Overlap podcast that some of his players were refusing to do interviews after the game. Bruno and Harry were two who would always go up, regardless of how bad the performance was. I'm no fan of Harry, most of the goals we concede can be blamed on him but at least he stands up to take the ribbing.
The fact many people thought this game was possibly 50/50 before kick off. Shows how far Utd have fallen. The players are absolute frauds. Stealing a living.
In 43 years of watching United never have I felt so gutted for the opposition, travelling back to Manchester it honestly felt like we lost today, God help this lot against city.
You were awful second half, it’s mad to think how far United have fallen since I watched them in the prem years again. Happened to Liverpool in the 80s , worse thing was half your fans actually left by the time it was the shootout.
I support united, but excuse my French, I fucking hate the players - Rashford and Anthony being at the top of that list!!!! 90% of the players need to get out of my club
You just can't do that .. the bigger the ship the harder it is to turn it around But when will they get a manager .. a coach who will set the standards Leadership comes from the owners and streams down through the coaching team from the top down.. Except Coventry their manager deserves TOP RECOGNITION Do you all agree there are some players here But the club has been disjointed for so so long the players need leadership The opposite is true of Arsenal and City Chelsea lose Abramovich and all sense of cohesion
I’m not a Man U fan so I can only image what there feeling like, seeing rashford taking a mil plus out of their club every month, for ghost appearances.
I'm a united fan and never been so embarrassed not that it was Coventry (anything can happen in cup games) but the fact we blew a 3-0 lead, brilliant from Coventry they deserved to win
you need to be embarrassed more because it was Coventry a championship team in 8 position on the table , if it was premier league who did this come back against united that will be fine we know they have been shambles all season ,from a team like Coventry who has no well know players , they are kids and they disgraced the Almighty Manchester united in semi final this way is shameless for united , you think Liverpool will blew 3 goals away like this ?
I'm a United supporter and at the end I was cheering for Coventry. They showed more grit in that match than the United players. A serious clear out is needed.
I don't believe that Rashford was truly injured when he walked off. It was a cowardly move in a time where they needed character. We need a serious offload in the summer.
A dear friend of mine was a massive lifelong Man U fan. He died from cancer last Thursday aged 56. He once told me that he couldn't believe his beloved Man U were so dismal, and gave him no joy in his last months on earth. He was buried today, an hour before kick-off.
So sorry for your friend. RIP. Despite having been a fan since 1989, I decided not to be hurting anymore by jumping off the ManU bandwagon. It was 2 seasons ago.
As a Liverpool fan I have to say Coventry's fans were amazing like their players they gave everything and were a credit to the City. I Look forward to seeing The Sky Blues back in topflight football very soon
Mark Robbins has brought them from the 4th division to here and hasn't been fired once in all that time.. We lost his best two players at the end of the season so he goes and reinvents the team
100% another great example now i won't lie i was happy they Lost but it was such a huge mistake what they did after Luke Shaw scored the opening goal they should have gone for the Juggler to finish off Italy instead they just camped and sat back let them get back into the game by the time Italy got their Equalizer the whole balance of the game had shifted Italy had the Momentum and England were on the backfoot granted in Extra time England had a great spell but it's too little too late by then you would have thought espicaly after that match teams would have woken up and learned from that but no they didn't it's still happening 3 years later
Your so right mate, with pens being so easily given if your sitting back with more than 10 to go its almost guaranteed to go in the net, they all need to cut it out and run for 90 not 70!
30 years supporting this amazing club, ive never felt so embarassed after winning a game, i was actually prepared for all the banter from my friends even though we didnt lose
Antony is just a tool more interested in his trim than doing the bizzo on the pitch - he will be back in Holland next season or some other pony league...
It's embarrassing that UTD went from 3-0 in 70 minutes to decide the game from penalties. UTD couldn't even defend last 15 - 20 minutes even after Coventry's second goal. It's a real embarrassment. What a comeback from Coventry they really played well and they deserved to be in the final more than UTD that's my opinion.
I'm a United supporter but deep down i'm gutted that Coventry are not in the finals against Manchester City ... they deserved it after their spectacular second half display.
right,i'm a lifelong coventry supporter, went to my first game in 1970,and i can speak for all coventry fans when i say i'm proud of my team..they did what we expect, they never gave up,they kept going..we've have our bad years and we're soon to get back to where we should be,and thats in the premier league terrorising those tender south americans and africans who think they only have to turn up to win.our fans were magnificent, were united fans even there?..and your team was a disgrace, only harry maguire came out of it with any credit, after the shoot out he was a true gent who shook every coventry players hand,on the other hand anthony is stealing a living,he wouldn't get into that coventry side,he'd struggle to get into a league 1 side..at the end the coventry players went to the fans, all had stayed, theres a connection between the team and fans...united tried a lap of honour but red cockneys, geordies, brummies etc had long gone..what a joke..even though we went out we taught you a football lesson today
I was at the game. Honestly think Rashford should never play for the club again. The rest are dog shit but he genuinely does not care one bit and gave up to come off. Bruno is a shocking leader. When things go against you, you need the captain to be strong and rally the troops but he sulks and sets the whole tone
Y'all sacked Ronaldo for him😂 Ten Hag and the glazers put stories in the media against Ronaldo and you all ate it up😂 Couldn't have happened to a better set if fans😂😂
Funny thing is that this is not new. We’ve done this with; Liverpool 4-3 (W) Copenhagen 4-3 (L) Galatasaray 3-2 & 3-3 (L) & (D) Bayern Munich 4-3 (L) Chelsea 4-3 (L) Now Coventry 3-3 So I’m not surprised. If there’s any I’ve missed, feel free to add it in.
It’s not new, and we shouldn’t be shocked anymore, but even after all of those results - I was still shocked today. It’s unbelievable . Against Coventry ffs. I know the penalty decision was debatable but their management of a game is consistently atrocious, and the subs from ten haag, I just don’t understand at all. Rashford was absolutely terrible all game, all he did was recieve the ball, do nothing with it and then either give it a way or pass it backwards.
Sat in the pun and watched this with a mate who supports MU and he hates rashford and wanted Coventry to win just to have the season done. VAR killing the joy of football.

I know Roy Keane hates how Manchester United players are so media trained in these interviews and I can imagine if he was playing for United right now he would be as honest about the performances as he is now. I do wonder what would be the reaction of social media to his blunt honesty if they perform the way they do this season? I feel like in the past he can get away with being cutthroat because United were constantly winning all the time.
What I love about Royston Maurice Keane is that he talks a lot of sense he's experienced , a great leader , never gave up and a superb Captain from a Manchester City fan.
Being a Man United fan for 44 years, I genuinely felt disappointed for the Coventry lads and their fans today when Hojlund scored his winning penalty. It didn't feel like a victory at all. Coventry City should really be in the final after that capitulation by some of the most highly paid professional footballers in the world. I did not celebrate when Hojlund scored his winning penalty - embarrassment and anger were my most overriding emotions. Utd were very lucky to sneak to the final. These players almost embarrassed my beloved club by not keeping a 3-goal lead for around 20 minutes to see the game out against a lower-ranked team and that (to me, at least) is unforgivable. Coventry City's players showed through their sheer belief, hard work and determination that Utd are mentally weak and don't truly understand what it takes to be a Manchester United player. They simply don't realise that EVERYBODY wants to beat Manchester United and they will try even harder than Utd's players to make that happen! Many of Utd's players should actually be playing for teams in the Championship or lower and definitely NOT not in the Premier League. I think it has also shown INEOS and Sir Jim that they have a HUGE job to do in shipping many of these very average players out of the club. Well done to Coventry City and their fans for making it such a great spectacle for the FA Cup and neutral fans as well and good luck for the rest of the season.
It felt as a victory no mater what other say!! Those embarrassed can go and support Man Shitty who lost to Real Madrid exactly the same way°😂. As Jose Mourino once said- you can be good as fuck and own the ball for the whole game but we will take the victory home! And you will take the ball.😂😂. This is what happened to City and Coventry too. 😅
@@oxanaspijavca997it is embarrassing that they lost a 3-0 lead against a championship team Coventry showed more passion and desire then over paid Man Utd players who are not fit to wear the badge
Agreed. Did Bruno even shake hands with Sheaf before the shootout. Looked to me like he didn't bother. Would he make the effort if it was a Champions League Semi instead, against say a Real Madrid or Barcelona. Thankfully we'll never know. 😂👎🏻💩 No class at all left at that club.
I know you're tryna ignore that Coventry player who held his ear at our fans and told them to shut up after he score Cov's 1st penatly in the shootout. Antony came from Ajax, if he sees anyone mugging his fans off then ofc he's gonna get his get back, even if they're from the Championship
@@ChronicTheHempHog-mf3nh just didn't lmao offside is offside. We had heartbreaks over offsides this season (and will definitely face more soon) and these championship teams gotta face it too
As a Luton supporter,I feel for Coventry. We beat them on penalties to get in the prem, last season on pens.Man Utd were so lucky. Hope Coventry can build on this game, for next season. What a bore the 2 Manchester clubs in the final.I won't be watching it.Football is getting boring, with the same clubs winning everything. Formula 1,is the same, that's why I don't watch that boring crap anymore. Good luck to Coventry next season. We will be playing you,as we are going back to the Championship.
As a cov fan im gutted we lost on pens but the fact we were 3 0 down and came back and u just about beat us on pens im so proud of them we were great and in my opinion we were robbed that 4th goal should have stood his foot were over the offside line but so proud of them and as a match it was a great match
@@ryanevans126 Coventry were great,to come back from being 3-0 down was brilliant..they showed imense passion & grit .. Well done i would be so proud of them to 👏👏
@@ryanevans126as a United fan I’m disgusted, that goal was never offside, it’s a disgrace from var, football is destroyed, at least you Coventry fans have pride in your team, all us United fans are empty and have been under ten hag for a while, if you keep on hare you will have a strong season next year he is a phenomenal player, that sort of player is needed in every team
Rashford pretending to be injured because he knows how shit he’s played, bad attitude not just from him but most of the players, I would keep Bruno, mainoo, maguire, onana, hojlund, dalot and Martinez and that’s it, all the rest need to go and QUICK!!!!
Build with Kambwala, Mainoo, Garnacho and Hojlund. Martinez was a standout first season so refresh with him next season, there's not many can honestly be relied upon over a season. Bruno on his day is good but alot of off days or petulance with him too
I'm a utd fan , i started watching the game looked at some of the players on ridiculous corporate money and then just turned it off and went for a walk and forgot about the game completley, couldnt care less anymore.
The reason we threw away a 3-0 lead is simple it is called in game management, subs , took 2 good young players off and not taking of the crap like Rashford
Absolutely heartbreaking for Coventry 😢💔 they fully deserved to win! Regardless of the final result, they can be proud of their performance 👏👏👏 Manchester United on the other hand…. 😐👎
Ten haag has not got the killer instinct needed at the elite manager level. Smell blood and go for the kill . Instead he brings players off and this type of game has happened so many times under his tenure
Full marks to mark robins for his professionalism on Saturday. SOME FOREIGN COACHES WOULD HAVE RAN DOWN THE TOUCHLINE JUMPING AND WAVING THEIR ARMS ABOUT, BUT HE KEPT HIS COOL, AND COMFORTED HIS PLAYER AFTER MISSING THE PENALTY. WHAT A FINE EXAPMLE OF TRUE SPORTSMANSHIP
Maguire has got alot of stick over the years but I believe he is a man of integrity, he has his weaknesses , like all players but he gives it his best. If other players with more talent put as much effort, Utd would be doing alot better.
He’s slow and predictable with his passing patterns. But other than that he’s fine. Lucky so many players are injured that he can step in. But he’s not exactly top quality like previous top United centre halves.
It’s so do with what the ref’s on-field decision is. The one in the Chelsea game wasn’t given, so they didn’t overturn it. Had it been given by the ref, no doubt they would have let it stand like this one
So glad Keane went specifically on the players, ten hag will get criticism and rightfully so but these players have no character about them at all. The game demonstrated that you fight until the game is won. And that's just a mentality the players don't possess
God I love Keano! I wish we could find a young version of him to add to this team! He'd get these slacker losers in shape in NO TIME. Or they'd quit from him yelling at them to pick it up and show some grit and determination. You NEED a guy like Keane on your team if you want to be the best. Someone with a massive fire burning in their belly. Someone who is willing to sacrifice everything to win it all. The only players Utd has on their team right that are even somewhat like Keane most of the time are: Martinez, Dalot and Hojlund. Those 3 guys are about the only ones that show fight, grit and a burning desire to win. Just like Keane said, there are NO LEADERS on this team, and even if there was, 50-75% of the rest of the team wouldn't even care or listen to them. There are just SOOO many sorry losers on this Utd team. Remember when Ronaldo came back. And he probably had some of the best advice on how to be the best player you can possibly be?!?! And guess how many players actually listened to him?!?! Elanga, Dalot and Garnacho might be it. Everyone else thought they were too cool for school and shunned the GREATEST player of all time and his amazing advice, hahaha. And I bet you Maguire and Rashford were the two most defiant idiots about that advice. If that doesn't show you how pathetic and un-coachable this sorry lot is, then I don't what else to say. INEOS has a MASSIVE job ahead of them over the next 3-5 transfer windows if they think they're going to get Utd back in the top 4, let alone near the top. They have a LOOOOOONG way to go. Keano knows it, Ferdinand knows it, Scholes knows it. EVERYONE knows it.
Under Sir Alex I used to feel proud even when we lost (especially the FA final against Arsenal in 2005), but with this win, I find Ten Hag and his guys have been saved from a huge embarrassment.
Maguire: "I think that pretty much sums up our season." - Man Utd were 3-Nil up against a Championship side after 60 mins. With just 20 mins to go Man Utd managed to concede 3 goals. Like wtf?!? Are you telling me that's your season in a nutshell. So this wasn't just a once off bad day? Everyday is a bad day to you? That's a disgrace man! Complete embarrassment!
Ten Hag has cleared out nearly two dozen senior players with another dozen or so probably on the way out the door. He is sorting out the dressing room. Not his fault the entire squad is trash
How is ETHsorting out that dressing room??? He signed a bunch of players thathave even less leadership than the previous ones... u think man u is going places with amrabat mount and antony? Deluded
@@Lucas-en3bt What players did he sign to replace the two dozen senior players that he has cleared out, please? Amrabat isn't a signing. Do you not understand how the transfer market works?

We were bombed in the 40’s and lost all our big factories in the 80’s….lost our beloved ground in 05 and got rented out to Birmingham and Northampton. ( Thank you neighbours) Our flag has a Phoenix rising from the ashes for a reason. This City never quit. P.S. nod to a much mis aligned Harry Maguire…he gave 100% and was a true gentleman after the whistle.
Also Fernandez sored a conceded goal . Touched the inner leg of the defender and changed the direction of the shot where the goalkeeper was already going to!! So exactly the same with the 2nd goal of Coventry . So do not complain !
When can we see the end of this VAR nonsense. Coventry won that game in spirit and without VAR. I hope they keep going after that and get in the PL next season.
Myself & many others have been proven wrong by Maguire this season. I still wouldn't have him first choice, but I think he's earned his place in next season's squad
Utd fan here. Coventry deserved it 100%. Its the 1st time I did not celebrate a semi final win A lot of players need to be moved on and fresh hungry ones brought in. I'll take 5/6/7/ years of growth for the team to become a challenger for a cup or title than this dross served up since Fergie left. Mourinho was right. His biggest achievement was getting Utd to 2nd place.
Honestly as a united fan i feel really sad for all good passionate coventry fans, for all lovely kids and everyone else. Hats off to you as you and your team deserved to be in the final. Nothing to be said about the game, just respect for Coventry
Harry Maguire is a gentleman. I thought he played really well today and he's been impressive this season. As a utd fan I'm embarrassed by that performance and ashamed of Antony's behaviour at the end. Shameful.

@@user-rn5hc2mq6bI think it’s a bit of both. Ten-Hag a manager out of his depth and a so called disciplinarian who doesn’t deliver results. The players a just pathetic, some just lazy others shouldn’t be playing for Manchester United.
@@user-rn5hc2mq6b yea granted but at the end of the day when a team doesn't perform the manager will get the blame that's always how it's been in football if the players are not good enough you need to ruthlessly clean house which is something ETH didn't do in the last summer transfer market the guys he did bring in a washed up Jonny Evans .... Mason Mediocre and Rasmus Hojulund who could be a good player if he could get the service KDB gives the City guys but right now we don't have the team to properly utilize him so in honesty the writing was on the wall before the season even began we needed serious reinforcements on our defense and midfield we got exactly nothing to help that for ETH to survive another season he needs to get rid of at least 8 players and replace them with better guys
Roy doesn't have the temperament to be a real manager he's way too wild😂 But if he was an assistant to someone like Rooney or another European coach it would be good. Sir Alex Ferguson would never let that happen
It's good the pundits see that this is not about the manager. In a season where he's dealing with all these injuries but some way somehow, these players keep committing needless defensive errors. If ETH is given the boot y'all know he really tried and another manager will just plunge United back into rebuilding mode again.
Yeah the cycle will reset. These players have outlasted many mangers so until every player in united has only played under 1-2 managers, we can even think about being a good team.
