Gotta say, the general public reads between the lines, we are smarter than influencers think! We know all these points about influencers. I bet influencers don't know that a lot of the time we watch or follow for entertainment purposes, not to get 'hot tips' or see 'whats new' .. kind of like a virtual womens weekly mag 😆
"hello guys welcome back to my channel... without further adue ... im so excited for this haul" always the same intro... basic minions without brain 💃🏼
Well, as an European living in America for over a year. The part that you talked about "let's hang out" is something that I experienced too, but I am not an influencer. I think Americans say that to be polite? The same as that you walk into a random Wal-Mart and someone who works there says: "Hey, how are you?" I think Americans say these things to be polite??? It is not that the Wal-Mart person actually would give a shit how I am doing. Could Americans (or people who experienced the same) reply on this?
Literally so many Asian you-tubers that just do sponsors of skin care products to get money and don’t actually use it the whole 29 days and starts saying things like “obsessed” even though in their next skin care routine NONE OF THOSE PRODUCTS ARE BEING USED! I ruined my skin because they gave such false information and since they always be doing sponsors they have the money to put in fillers and lasers☹️I wish they can be more honest like casandra♥️thank you for this video
So good! Love this video! Lol regarding "I formulated this" - I couldn't agree more, as someone who worked in brand licensing for fashion labels for years, young and old don't know how little influencers and sometimes big brands actually do sometimes. The factories are all the same and often a third party is licensed and designs everything and sends samples for approval because the companies know what sells and makes something inspired by the name that's going on it (colors, formulas, etc).
yesssss please talk about the business behind beauty! It could even be a series! I'm a marketing major and am super interested in working in the beauty/retail industry with a business degree!
You deserve all your subs and views, and set the standard for this kind of intelligent, honest public service RU-vid channel, because you’re objective, thorough, do your homework, and present information factually without bias. Always appreciated. Thank you.
Well Cassandra, you are a wonderful influencer, and I love following you.. especially your science videos 😍 you’ve definitely brought a positive influence to my acne prone life Hahahaha.. By the way can you do a video on the new trend involving the pore sucker 😂 will it help or is it a scam 😬
I just shows how influencers are so ignorant. Instead of asking for a share of ownership in the company for advertising the same product, they just focus on rebranding existing products. That's what happens when you have power and don't know the best way to use it
I'm sorry. This is going to maybe be unpopular but one thing that I'm soooo sick of is "Hiiii Sisters!!!" Or "sister snatched" etc. Just saying. And the "I formulated this" statement is sooooo dead on!!! Jeffree is just awesome btw. You rock btw
Whoa, this really explains the Jaclyn Hill situation with the launch of her faulty/contaminated lipstick line. That woman clearly doesn't check up on her product & just slaps her name on it. I feel bad for her fans :(
Thank you for this. I'll be watching the other one after this. Some skincare products actually show you improvement after a week. With that being said, I sometimes laugh at the reviews of skincare products when they probably did it wrong or didn't give it long enough for it to actually work. Sometime reviews are even lamer when the reviewer comments that the product broke them out and you shouldn't use it. HELLO the same product did NOT make me break out in a rash. That's why I'm skeptical of some reviewers and need to research myself and try it. It's actually a trial and error thing that a lot of people need to use when it comes to trying new products. Olay products for sensitive skin that I'm using ARE working for me. Will it work for everyone NO. Each person is different. SKINCARE PRODUCTS ARE NOT ONE SIZE FITS ALL IN A MATTER OF SPEAKING. MY PET PEEVE IS REVIEWERS OF PRODUCTS WHO TELL YOU NOT TO BUY THE PRODUCT BECAUSE OF WHAT HAPPENED TO THEM. DUH IT MIGHT NOT DO THE SAME THING TO ME. Having sensitive skin is a trial and error deal for a lot of us.
A very good message as always X. I just wanted to ask that please if your able to do a video on back and chest acne and products you recommend for treating it. Please would really appreciate it as summer is coming soon X
Hmmm interesting points Cass I do strongly agree with the" I have tried it " expression that influencers use. I feel that to get the best outcome I need to try a product for at least a month to see if it truly works for me or not but I make sure to do a patch test first in case I'm allergic to the ingredients or if I breakout in that area !
rockstarrachita right?? It gets thrown around all the time! And maybe with make up or clothing it’s more lax, but for skin care I can’t stand it!! Loves you!!
Xaomi Xaomi hellooo beautiful butterfly and welcome to the family!! We have lots of other informative and heartfelt Acne videos on this channel. Cassandra Bankson thx for liking my comment and responding I’ll make sure to watch most of your videos because they help a lot and like in this video what your saying is true
Influencers who review a product that they are being paid to review and never once say they hated anything this is usually clothes or high makeup. , it drives me nuts the other thing is they are sat posing and flicking their hair every two minutes now this really gets me angry ! So much that I just can’t watch !
I thought this would be funny or relatable. However I will agree, it irks me to hear videos, etc where the person acts ultra hyper talks way too loud or their pitch is way forced high pitched
I have no idea who that is... I’m part of testing items and I don’t do videos at all. Which I should but I don’t want to, it’s called influenster and that’s where I go to research on products and do reviews on what they send me.
Anna Flores This is amazing, and Anna, your honesty is always so appreciated! You are an example of what the industry should be. I know you don’t film videos, but if you are ever down to share your thoughts or reviews I am sure myself and other butterflies would find them very interesting!
Nice to see natural nails! No over long acrylics. Seems like you actually have a life where you have to use your hands for stuff like washing up, changing nappies etc 😀
@@CassandraBankson, Yea I use Natural light as much as I can in My Videos, many of them are under my 21 year old Maple Tree, some Winter, some Spring, and Summer.
There are alot of dumb influencers, but face it, they are a powerhouse when it comes to digital marketing strats. Just ensure you collaborate with the right influencers (same market, and legitimate ~ which you find out by auditing with tools like *influencer auditor* ) and the returns are very real and rewarding , no matter how dumb sometimes they are
Cassandra I visited a dermatologist ..recently and he recommended me a chemical sunscreen (i have seborrheic dermatitis with acne )... that sunscreen is pretty good but i was sceptical after the Reading the FDA recent article that sunscreen can be absorbed into the skin and can be found in blood plasma ..so i just want to know should I really think about it or just use the sunscreen? What do you think?
Susmita Chandra hey beautiful! This is a really excellent question and I appreciate you using your mind and intellect to ask and explore! If it was dermatologist recommended, I would say follow what your doctor says. If you are concerned, I would highly recommend calling his office, and asking if he has read about the study, and if so what he thinks. Again, just because it’s absorbed into the blood does not mean it is negative, or harmful, although we will find out. Also, many people have been using the sunscreens for years with no major health impacts. For myself, I prefer a physical or mineral sunscreen. They are safe for Acne, seem to be more affective, and they are safe for the oceans. If you can find a physical or mineral sunscreen that stays within your doctor’s recommendations I would highly recommend trying to do that! Love you and please keep us updated on how it goes :)
Cassandra Bankson yea suree and can you make a video on indian skincare .. because now the market is overloaded with products but mostly the products are useless because the consumers are not interested in knowing how the products works .. so the companies are making products just for profits and its so pathetic that this brands are loved by people just because they are affordable... is the skincare is just for money? It suppose to be good for our skin ... but very less people want to educate themselves before they use the products ..
I have been binge watching your vids. I'm always learning something and appreciate all the work you put into them. I agree you have gotten better since your early ones when your voice was even higher than it is now. I have noticed one thing that you might not be aware of and that's touching your hair... a lot. Decided to count it in this video. You touched your hair 35 times in this vid. There were 10 times in the first 2 min. 46 seconds. Just sayin. Peace out, Butterfly.
