😠 Judge Confronts Idle Mother of 7! 🤬 

Those children are blessed to have family step up. It’s bad enough to have to be separated, but it’d be worse to be separated amongst strangers in foster care. This lady is sickening and maddening.

She isn't why foster care is overloaded... her kids aren't in foster care.

True, I just think now women don't have any way to have an abortion, they 0:48 will keep the babies just to get a check but neglect the children. People don't want to pay for children in foster care until they are 18 because it is so expensive. And then the poor child is thrown out into the world without resources. Unless they are born drug-addicted and brain-damaged and then they will have to have care for life.

What a good observation! There are a lot of kids who are in the system for such similar situations. I had a child for an entire year and then the Mom got custody and I had 24 hours to return him. It was so heartbreaking. She got 2 boys back and just went back to men and drugs. Another time my best friend had psychotic breaks from substance abuse and eating disorders and got locked up in a heroin and alcohol treatment program. Then she met a guy in the rehab program, and got pregnant again. None of her family would take care of the child - just one year old. So her exgirlfriend and the baby daddy and I kept him until he was three years old. And of course the courts ordered him returned.

Me too and she jusy gets us the tax payer to provide her with everything. Those poor children

As soon as she give birth to this one, the state is going to take the baby from her. They'll see that she got those other children taken from her!!

You cannot tell someone to not have children. Because what criteria do you use to determine who is or isn't worthy? Where do you draw the line? How poor? How uneducated? How lazy? I have no love for bad, neglectful or abusive parents (I say bring the full force if the law down upon them, including permanent removal and jail time) but having children is not the crime. Neglecting and abusing them is the crime.

I feel sorry for children of women who refuse to work or take care of their children.

To be honest, I doubt that at the time she was fooling around that she was intentionally getting on the nest; generally irresponsible people don't consider the consequences of their actions and she/they were rolling the dice about pregnancy. People who use drugs or participate sexually are looking for a quick feel-good moment - and when the rabbit dies they act surprised. I hope that the children live in a more stable environment than what she provided. Judge Boyd is outstanding. jmho.

This is how every single public defender I’ve ever been around has behaved. This is how my brother’s most recent public defender (2021) behaved. So much so that because I went to law school, I went and helped him with his case. I freaked out on his main attorney for wasting 2 years of his time when I got him sentenced in under a week AND a lesser sentence than the 3.5 years min my bro was facing. He only got 9 mo after I got involved.

I'm all for individual rights, and do not want to see the government interfere with that. However, I really wonder if rights should be taken away from anyone who harms a child like this. It's maddening when they just keep popping out babies, especially while doing drugs!!

@@VioletJoy I agree with people's rights but I wouldn't think twice when it comes to people like this losing their rights as soon as ANY harm comes to a child it should be a mandatory prison sentence and sterilisation for the parent female OR male! Women with multiple fathers of their children carry that stigma but it should be looked at for the father's too I guarantee they have children with multiple women! I believe in second chances BUT not when it comes to destroying another person's life like this woman's children!

I know a very loving couple who adopted a girl years ago...then the drug addicted bio mom had another baby, so they adopted him...then it happened again, so they adopted her. They all have pretty severe issues due to being born drug addicted and abused as infants. I also know of several other drug moms whose children were put in foster care and later adopted. To think of those babies being born with so many problems is too much to bear. 💔

There's no point getting enraged. The laws need to be changed and support is needed for mental health, because then her family members could have her committed and deemed unfit. She should permanently be sterilized so she cannot get pregnant. That should have happened after the FIRST child, certainly after she's proven she has no ability to be an adult of reasonable intelligence. She doesn't care, so I very much doubt that what the judge has ordered will have an impact.

Although she clearly has issues, which I think the judge did an awesome job of addressing, we really don’t know the details of what happened for the first 15 +/- years of her life as a parent. I’m not at all suggesting that she was a good mom, and I’m guessing the judge has more information than we do. But the defendant probably did think she raised her children - even if it’s clear to us that she probably wasn’t doing a good job. I’m guessing she never learned how to be a good parent.

She might actually be high risk because of her drug use…which could cause high blood pressure, which could cause pre-eclampsia and other complications.
