Wow. That horse was just NOT in the mood this day. Even people who were trying to be respectful and didn’t try to touch the horse, stood a couple of feet away, still got pushed and nipped at. One guy didn’t touch the guard but his foot was about 4 inches from the horse’s hoof. One side-step or even stomp from the horse due to a fly irritating it, and that fellow would be going to the hospital. I guess feet are optional accessories. Yikes.

Not 1, NOT 1 of these ignorant people asked the gaurd for permission to get their photo taken with him/her. I wonder if these people would like photos taken of them without asking permission, I don't think so!! Thank you for your service.

I totally agree of course that the tourist aren't considerate of the fact that this is a working post. They charge up on the horse, don't acknowledge the Guard and take way too many liberties. This being said, I think the Life Guard is seriously stressed. Rightfully so, but she needs a break to destress from this mess.
