At 10.04, what is the point of her raising her arm like that?, it’s like she was presenting her horse and guard…. These Chinese women are so pushy and rude 😮
I was just about to write this very same thing. Ormand does not suffer these fools and does not get bothered in this awful way. Ormand demands space and gets it.
I'm sorry to sound disrespectful to a culture, but those Chinese are extremely rude!!! They push everyone of their way and totally close in too close to the gunner and horse! I felt sorry for the little girl and her dad thru g to get a picture and the Chinese woman pushes the little girl away. The dad was shocked, but very tolerable.
You are so right! I'm so much older now and meaner, so I think I would get in there and push and shove back and mock them like I'm speaking their language.
We keep saying this, no respect for serving soldiers, they think it’s Disney that’s the militarys fault for not putting them behind a barrier! They don’t have to do changing of the guard like they did centuries ago, get with the times!
Did that disrespectful b word hit the horse or the guard?!! either way, such arrogance!! She should have been arrested for assault. in the US she would have been!! Who does she think she is?!!!
Did you see that?!? She slapped him back, and blew him off with a dismissive wave of her hand, and an annoyed look on her face! How ignorant and rude. These Chinese visitors never have any sense of personal space!
First off the gunner was female, so she moved her away with her boot. Secondly, not all Asian tourists are disrespectful , most are quite respectful with only a few not being so. Just like every ethnic background that comes to horse guards, some are respectful, and some aren't.
@@garnetj69- While you're correct on this being a female guard and that not everyone is this rude, I think you'll see a "pattern" here with a high number of let's just say "Asians" acting very rude here.
It beggars belief that tourists are allowed to approach the Guards, let alone touch them. I wish they could be prevented. Surely, these days, it's a security risk apart from anything else?
Get close to the guards boot, you’re too close. This isn’t Disney Land, these are working guards and horses. When you visit other countries, respect their culture and laws, otherwise stay home if you can’t. It would be great service if the plane attendants gave somewhat of an explanation to the travels that they shouldn’t act entitled, have good manners, pay attention around them for clues how to behave as a visitor.
Not the job of "airline attendants"! For goodness sakes - what about parents, teachers, religious instruction, even, dare I say, their own government expectations of behaviour abroad. Jeez, don't go putting it on the airline.
@@judithsands2737 apparently that isn’t working. Being I’ve travelled internationally many many times, it’s not a bad idea reminder to reach those that are actually visiting places outside of their culture to be mindful of others cultures. I’m nit putting anything on airlines either, it’s a suggestion, but apparently you are here to be a problem. You must be American.
Tourists are getting more and more complacent , they get too near the horse the poor creature is confused and frightened, especially with the children. Yes they like having their photo took with the horses but one at a time. There's going to be a nasty accident soon and it will involve a child. Next thing we know is the tourists will be wanting little Johnny sitting on the horse for his photo.
@@lynndamico1448- The hell with "feelings", people need to act appropriately or get reprimanded. Come to Arlington cemetery and act inappropriately and that guard will have ABSOLUTELY NO PROBLEM yelling at you. It should be the same with the horse guards.🇺🇲🇺🇲
P. SI do not care if I sound rude or not? I find those Asians extremely rude. They push past people they get in front of people even to a child in this particular instance. And they all do the same thing they want to get away with touching the reins or the guard, and yet if they had paid attention they would see what happens when that happens, the guard lets them know and they still do it anyways, I'm sorry they should be banned.
Too many people....this should never be allowed ! I am so sorry for the horse and guard....I could never come there and watch this hot mess. Honestly don't they care how the horses and guard feel ?? These people don't understand but they get on my nerves watching them.
Great job by this guard! *~~~~~* 6:10 - This nasty witch should have been reported! She hit either the guard or the horse! When you get a horde of old Asian women (Chinese?), they take over, and treat everyone else disrespectfully! The majority grab the reins and ignore the guard! *~~~~~* 12:05 - And right on cue, here comes the MOD officer to help out! She's the best!
We have them in our country, they believe they own our country, the native’s aboriginal where here first then immigrants from England, Ireland , Germany and other nations. Sorry you don’t own our country, and never will.
For crying out loud we’re are the police telling all of this horridly people to get back, there is to many people surrounding that poor horse and so close, it’s not fair, and how dare that women slap the Gunner
@@george-ev1dq, The dumb lady kept grabbing the reins and then stood against her boot !! So she got booted , serves that woman right !! She was terribly rude and obnoxious even to the little girl !! SMH
Un contingente entero alrededor del caballo y el guardia!!!! Un horror!!! Y esa señora le pegó en la bota cuando el guardia la tocó!!! Mal educada y soberbia actitud!!! 😡
What really bothers me was that little girl trying to get her picture taken. The first time a lady wants to get her friends picture first she grabs the girls arm pushes her at her father. The next time a woman gets in front of the girl makes it impossible to get a picture. Finely she gets her picture taken.
I have to give an lot of respect to these guards for keeping their cool with these oblivious, cackling people posing and fake smiling for themselves to look at on their cameras when they get home.
It's hilarious the hand signals these tourists come up with. From peace signs of every variation, from pointing to the horse (as if the viewers need someone to point out they're standing next to a horse). And let's not forget the universal thumbs up...👍
What is that mental woman doing standing next to the horse with her hand in the air? Either touch the horse or don't, but dont go waving your hands around, its the quickest way of startling the horse. Also, at 6:00 did she pull that little indian girl out of the way so she could get a photo? How disrespectful..
Chinese haven’t seen a horse that you don’t eat , wow Chinese have respect for the guards and horses, the king should abolish this or have a white painted line they can’t cross
Do understand these tourists! The guard and horse are working. They shouldn’t be aloud to get that close. They should have signs up light in the court yard. Can’t go past the arches.
I blinked and missed it. I feel people should be at the sides only not passed the stone. These people use respect these are guardsmen on duty not a petting zoo and his keeper.
There is a difference between solemn and unpleasant. Some should not have contact with the public. It really bothers me to see a person kicked. They can be moved away with the horse.
The guards and horses have to be so patient with all those people. It's a wonder more don't get kicked or bit. I never saw anyone get kicked in this one.
This Show time of British Military history, Enacted by serving military personel, is not what I signed up for in my nine years service, They are a better soldier than I, "God dam it" as Ripley loved to say, I started to explain, how yet the Chinese have an Ancient history, they have no humanity, I hope point proven
are some tourists more disrespectful because these are female guards? these are army artillery soldiers!! I also blame the tour guides (who get paid very well) for not informing their tourist groups how to show proper respect to these guards and also stop urging them to get closer to the guard and military mount - I'm quite aware that the Monarchy enjoys the money the tourists bring to the country however disrespect of its military should not be tolerated - imho
Cest comme çà que la famille royale gagne son fric en humiliant la garde royale avec les touristes et les pauvres chevaux qui se font tripotter a longueur de journée, ils seraient mieux dans un pré a galoper quel honte
@cherylg5315 . They are The Kings Troop Royal Horse Artillery who are usually seen at State Ceremonial occasions pulling the gun carriages and firing salutes. They also provide a team of 6 black horses for State funerals , and have an amazing Musical Drive with 6 teams of 6 horses pulling the gun carriages . The horses are the same breeding a The Household Cavalry Light Irish draft/thoroughbred cross but smaller and vary in colour from light / dark bay to black .
I'm trying to figure out why they feel the need to do all this dog and pony show c*** they want to have guards there. That's fine, but why put everybody on display? People are morons? They are not going to follow the rules.
They are The Kings Troop Royal Horse Artillery who are seen at State Ceremonial occasions pulling the gun carriages and firing salutes . The mane is hogged for safety reasons to prevent it catching in the reins of harness when they unhitch the horses quickly .
The japanese tourist are the rudest why doesn't the guard go back in the box and stop the tourist from entering the box or touch the horse and the guard , surely this is common assault touching the guard , would they like it if a stranger touched them !!
Not sure if they are Japanese. The Chinese are the worst. Rude, pushy and LOUD. They run up to the horses and wave their hands and jump around, upsetting the horses. Disgusting behavior.
Is there any tour which takes in the stable area and covers the up keep of the horses? I would love to know about their upkeep, diet, special treatment that these animals do on the hard surfaces of the city. If you can tell me about such a tour, I would be most thankful. I cannot imagine the amount of effort that maintains these wonderful animals! I am so inspired by these animals and men who hare serving their country by maintaining this tadition! The disrespect is terrible That is not Disney land!!!
There is no tour of the stables , visitors on occasions are permitted , family , military , VIP's . There is an area in The Household Cavalry Museum at the back on the Parade ground that's looks down into the stables . The main barracks is at Hyde Park and the horses are exercised there every day , they also go out to grass regularly at Melton Mowbray Defence Animal Training Regiment . If you look at London City Walks videos he was invited to Hyde Park for the Princess Elizabeth Challenge Trophy entrants so you get to see a lot behind the scenes . A search for The Household Cavalry brings up information and videos . Same with The Kings Troop Royal Horse Artillery who are in this video .
There are no tours but in The Household Cavalry Museum there is a window looking down into the stables . If you look up both The Household Cavalry and The Kings Troop Royal Horse Artillery ( which these are ) there's lots of information and videos available including educational ones about the regiments .
I'll just add if you look at a couple of videos by London City Walks " Behind the scenes " filmed at Hyde Park Barracks during the preparation for The Princess Elizabeth Challenge Trophy there's some great footage .
