There’s a CNN special called Dirt Track Warriors where Scott Bloomquist talks about silver spoon drivers like Josh Richards and how well they would do if they were on there own. He was pretty accurate with his prediction.
I grew up around dirt track racing and I remember when Terry started driving mods, went quickly to late models and did even better! But his bad attitude cost him a lot, as did this retaliation you just watched.
I've been watching Josh Richards for about 10 years and he definitely hasn't driven like that during that time, so I'm guessing that is something he probably didn't do on purpose and regrets happening. It is telling though that when he left Mark Richards he's ran mid pack ever since, when he was up front week after week with his dad. I hope they work it out one day, if they haven't already.
Those things put on a great show and really hook it I remember studying what they're doing that sure seems to me like they got tuned in and designed in rear steer my unlike what payment cars do they allow a whole bunch of body roll when the weight wants to transfer going into the turn and this mechanical action or transfer of weight whatever caused the rear axle to can't and allow the rear tires to track more accurately on the curve of the track which helps on a dirt car especially because it's already going to be losing traction and a set of anti-roll bars because it's not a sway actually it's about your also and roll bar so yeah if it streetcar understand what was going on with would say this is totally wrong but with the issue of too much power of attorney and you start losing too much traction to go backwards more less so to speak of the actual allows more power to put on before before tractions lost in an actual is helping steal the car cuz it's not stepping out so wide
I’ve watched Josh Richards race for a long time and this is not his style whatsoever. I’m sure this was a mistake on his part. He could have been wrecking guys for the past decade but hasn’t and is def on the cleaner side of a racer.
Racing.... Teched to be driver skill. In reality it's what can you get away with to win. Cut throat sport. Not saying it's right but I've seen worse and couldn't believe there wasn't retaliation.
I think they should pull there wrecked cars to the infield and let them talk it out or fight it out make it like a hockey fight let them go at each other then break it up have them load up the cars and let them leave the track boy would the people packed the stands may it will teach the driver to respect each other and back off when your knowing you are going to wreck your car and others I say when you are going into the corners when the green flag drops yeah your all wrecking that happens in racing
@@ddubsmclovin oh no doubt. But it doesn’t matter if he drove into the side door and carried him around for two laps. There is no justification for retaliation like that. It might even be attempted murder.
Like Bloomquist and Frye at Eldora? Or at Bowman Grey where people go to see a fight and a demolition derby, and all of a sudden a race broke out? 🤣🤣 Put the gloves on and get in the ring!
