🚀I decided to upload this video to clarify things about the new version of Windows 11. If you have something else to add, leave it in the comments, and remember to share the video. Also, note that issues during the early days of a new release are expected, so what I'm saying isn't any new. I'm just reminding you of what happens when a new version comes out.
Another thing to keep in mind: 24H2 is said to completely remove Windows Mixed Reality support, so if you - like me - have a headset like the HP Reverb G2, installing the "update" will turn it into nothing more than a (really expensive) paper weight.
The author of the video is right and I completely agree with him. If you still don't get the update via Windows Update don't bother installing 24H2 as a clean install, just wait. For some it will come in the first days of its release, for others it will come within a few weeks. I got 4.10 on Friday after checking Windows Update. It didn't ask if I wanted to install the update, it just downloaded and installed. The whole update with downloading and installing took me about half an hour. Finally it said that the files of the old version of the operating system (23H2) need to be deleted. I did it and have been using the new build for two days now. It is important that the hardware is really compatible with the OS so that you don't have problems.
I already upgrade my 23H2 (unsupported) to 24H2. The big red button that says "24H2" is too strong to resist. So i did it. So far so good though (fingers cross)
I'm still using Windows 10 on my laptop even though it's very powerful device and eligible for upgrade. I see that Microsoft is inclined towards making Windows 11 AI ready and they don't work on optimising the OS for the regular tasks.
I had performance and blue screen issues on 23H2 even after updating my bios to latest version, so i reinstalled windows with 24H2 and everything works without problems now, only missing some features like lock screen media player and such
I'm Trying A clean install tomorrow to see how it goes. Everything is backed up as I work mainly from External drives and nothing is really on my computer. So if the fresh install of 24H32 tommorrow does not work great with all my software I'll go back to 23H2 and wait. I'm just itching and always have the latest yupdates of everythig I use. So 'll give 24H2 a try tomorrow, Thanks for all your videos. For mre it is te best regards these topics.
I updated to 24H2 on my dual booted PC. I can no longer boot into my Linux distro KDE Neon 6. Problem solved - deleted windows and reinstalled KDE Neon. I don't need windows for any reason anyway.
We Couldn't Install Windows Server 0xC1900101 - 0x20017 The Installation Failed in the SAFE_OS phase with an error during BOOT operation Please Reply How to fix this error 😢
I really doesn't hope microsoft will force you to have a microsoft account! I HATE it so much!🤬 I really hope you can skip Microsoft account if you want and use an offline account!
Does the 24H2 have some issue like clipboard, etc, i made clean install and had it in first and i tried to do 2nd clean install and the issue is the same, is it only me ??
Yes, for supported and unsupported PCs. However, for unsupported PCs, you can only use it for clean installation with an USB, you cannot use it for in-place upgrade. The developer of the Rufus is trying to fix the problem with the in-place upgrade.
This sounds like typical Microsoft problems. I choose to uninstall copilot on my machines so I wonder what will happen. I don't want left-wing programs GIGO!
Glad to hear your computers are running without issues, but it doesn't mean that everyone will have same luck as you can read in the comments. I'm just pointing out what I see and hear. You can check the video description with the tutorials on how to upgrade and clean install the OS, and you will see, I never had any issues, but I understand that every case is different.
I tried to install this version on an unsupported computer. After doing a clean install and rebooting, I got a problem and it told me that there is a problem with your hard drive. Please restart your computer. 😢 ،so back again to windows 10
@@PureinfotechDo you advise me to use 23H2 instead of this new update on a device that does not meet the requirements? It was working without any problems.
I upgraded to 24h2 and later rolled back to 23h2 only coz 24h2 has disabled network sharing. What a bummer. 24h2 is pretty smooth and fast but that one feature of sharing which I badly need is missing in it. And it makes no sense at all on windows disabling sharing feature like NAS, i mean what harm is that doing to microsoft. Ridiculous really, I tried various work arounds but to no avail.
