I worked as a fire officer on the film set of Dark Crystal at Elstree Studios. I spent a lot of time crawling under the stage where it was being filmed armed with a fire extinguisher. It was very interesting. I can’t believe how long ago it was and I don’t think my knees could take the crawling around for very long nowadays:)

Very cool ! I met and worked with a makeup artist once that had some of the old Jim Henson puppets and items - I think it was a horn from Ludo from Labyrinth and a head of a Skeksi puppet . He said Disney was throwing them out he found them in a dumpster. Can you imagine ? What a shame just throwing these puppets away , they should be in a museum !
Thank You, Ken. I enjoy hearing about most people's 3rd-eye-inspired references pertaining to most movies; however, hearing yours, is, especially, a treat! My dad took me to see Dark Crystal in the theater when I was five and I was grateful when he said we didn't have to stay, on account of how terrified I become once the Skexis were introduced. Of course, I watched it later in life, and will say that I also find that the series only continued a providing of further tasty metaphysical morsels! Since we're recommending movies.., "Frequencies' (plural - nOT 'Frequency' (the movie or series), available on RU-vid under the title 'OXV The Manual', is one of my mOst favorite movies to geek-out on. I will assume you've seen it on account of how much you enjoy anything-Nikola Tesla (which the opening credits state, He wrote). If you haven't seen it yet, please stop everything you're doing and watch it nOW! ;) Otherwise, if you hAve already seen it, I would hugely enjoy hearing 'your take' on it, as well, next time you're feeling 'movie-talkie'. :)
This is timely for me, as I recently allowed my daughter to see this film (...after a lot of deliberation) It was my favorite film as a little kiddy & thanks for calling it OLD. I was happy that at the end my kiddy seemed to "get it" in a sense. (especially in regards to the unification) And is still pondering aspects of two days later...

Yes it was fun and interesting to hear further ideas about the different aspects in it. The Netflix spinoff of the movie into a 10 part series that is set about 200years? Before the movies timeline makes allot of the metaphysics more poignant especially with Augras character.

This movie traumatized me as a kid a little. Idk all the stuff about sucking the life out of people messed with me. Really cool video, symbolism is the best way to look at metaphysics. What you said about wizard of oz, yes indeed! Especially the scarecrow, who I love. Near the end of the movie, he gets set on fire, burns away and disassembled. But comes back later I think? Pretty much the same analogy ken uses for jhana, "neti neti" not this not that, burning away all that is not the real self. He's very taoist, I read an article of some Jungian psychologist about that. One of my favorite characters, he knew that he didn't know. And so was the wisest. "If you know you don't know, if you don't know you know". When Dorothy first meets him, he gets let down from his pole, and tumbles, losing some straw (not the self). Dorothy says, does It hurt you?! (Suffering etc) "Oh no, I just keep picking it back up and putting it back in again!, My it's good to be free!" (Haha, that's not free at all, he's just like us!) Love the symbolism in wizard of oz, even the sun symbolism of the yellow brick road, man behind the curtain. Very relevant for today, "Pay not attention to that man behind the curtain!" A lot of stuff from freemasonry and other sources in there, especially when meeting the wizard, knocking on the door. "Go away!" Not a big fan of those guys but they do have great potlucks.
Ken, you a soooo right about the resonance this move is capable of. I saw it as a child in the theater when it was new. I think I was in 4th grade at the time. I remember coming home and trying to explain to my mother how great the story was and she was like WTF did you just watch?!? The concept of good, evil, and unity may not have been able to be articulated by my young mind, but it certainly wasn't lost on it.

I don't know why, but I'll say it. I did lsd a while back around 2015. I was trying to find myself or something, maybe just being a fool. The day after, i went to the thrift shop. Because I'm poor, that's where I go. Anyhow, still moved by the spiritual/ metaphysical/ unexplainable/ foolish experience, I found a Seth materials book there. It stuck out cause that's my name. It felt coincidental, or meant to be, like the universe wanted to show me something, or flat out crazy. I bought and read it. Far out stuff, definitely. I'm just surprised you mentioned it. With our current modern technological mind state it appears that time is speeding up. Fast paced on our way to self destruction. I would suggest the answer to a large extent is to SLOW DOWN our lifestyle. Thus CHANGING our PERCEPTION and ultimately CHANGING the PROJECTION. We feel that we are helpless to change anything , when its becoming more apparent that ONLY we can change it based on our relation and identification with the "drama". . I just watched it, apart from the metaphisical stuff, the skeksis are so much fun to watch, especialy the sounds they produce. Great fairytale atmosphere. So refreshing to watch a muppet movie, the work that went into it is amazing

I have always loved this film. Saw it first as a child in 80s. Had it memorized I think at one point. Haha.. This brings a deeper context. Need to surely rewatch.
Some say that the parts in the movie where they drain the lifeforce out of beings is based upon adrenochrome harvesting or SRA. See also the Disney film Monsters Inc. which has a tamer depiction based upon harvesting fear. DK was a unique and well made film but a bit creepy. Thank you for your insights.
Another term for this practice is "looshing." It's use infers that we are asked to stay at certain frequencies to be used as batteries for our emotions such as fear or even ecstacy. This is supported by the multifarious onslaught of low-vibrational foods, education/programming/entertainment, chemtrails, use of extreme amounts of heavy metals in dentistry/vaccines, use of law to confound, play revenge and fear-unduction games, divide-and-conquer strategies...

the way you look at this movie and many others is the same way music seems to say things to me but also many movies. it still seems crazy to attribute meaning to something the creator didnt intend. its very exciting though and heard this happens often with poetry. i'm going to donate money one day so we can chat on the phone and i can annoy you with lots of poetry instead of talking about anything really for the lols
Ken - thanks for doing this. I enjoy this kind of movie metaphysics. Would be interested to hear your take on Donnie Darko and some of Kubrick's films. Haven't read the Seth books. I have read the Carlos Castaneda books. Lots of debate about whether they are autobiographical- as he claims. Or in fact fiction. I'm inclined to think they are a combination of both. He was certainly on some sort of path of self-enquiry. For anyone interested The Truman Show and the later Dark City film which came out just before The Matrix are also interesting to watch. In a deep thought session the other day I seem to conjur the idea that the guardian maker of matter is that we call evil and to some extent the joker. Physical realm is a membrane or encrustation forming on the “surface” of the non physical and feels to me to be born of fear-flinch-hesitation-disturbance-fracture. I looked at the shattered screen of my phone and realised without the tessellated broken surface the light beyond was obscured and the physicality of the screen made visible. Without separation it would to some Extent not exist.
Really surprised he did not go into the true purpose of iconic movies like Dark Crystal, Wizard of Oz, etc and that is a very effective tool to support trauma based mind control. He did emphasize the importance of the "shard" which is a symbolic representation of a psychological "alter", forcefully created through said trauma based mind control tactics. Partitioned "shards" of ones psyche created by the programmer which can be triggered or "called up" through any number of triggers at any point in time by said programmer. Fritz Springmeier goes into jaw dropping detail of how this works (both from a practical and psychological POV) and delves into the Dark Crystal, specifically from real testimony of actual victims.

it was one of the 'midnight movies' when I was in HS. I've not watched the new version yet, nor have I watched this video fully because I'm writing as you speak.
I was 14 when I saw Dark Crystal I saw it only once however the film has stayed with me most of my life since discovering metaphysics the realisation that the film is in has ingrained within its story is a metaphysical Undertones if I was to recommend a metaphysical film I would suggest the Dark Crystal as a starting point
Ken can you explain the ancient practice of when building a structure whether a temple or living quarters some people would sometimes practice human sacrifice and bury the remains under the foundation or sometimes might place an alive human in a sealed wall or tomb if you will. I have read a couple theories one being they would later practice necromancy and communicate with the deceased spirit entity in various strange ways and or believed that it offered some type of protection like a talisman or charm that seems to be a belief held by just about every culture on the planet at one time or another they all ad a form of sympathetic magic the shaman would act out for different desired outcomes. Nowadays in popular culture from Hollywood if someone is murdered and the body hidden in a wall it's a haunting or ghost trapped basically to the home there is a Kevin bacon movie with this plot and he gets hypnotized and after that his spiritual vision was opened if you will and he figured out where the body was and got a proper burial and justice for the disincarnate spirit.i know this isn't your normal topic but I bet you have some knowledge of it a different culture aspect of what was believed about the manner of death it almost reminds of the story of Solomon binding genie or jinn in a brass vessel or lamp from Arabian stories

Yes, mummification was essentially a method to get around what the Rosicrucians call the "second death" or the expiration of our etheric body. It's theorized by them that post-death maintenance of the physical body through ritual/mummification allows one to maintain presence within that etheric body, essentially allowing them to "forego judgement". I've been intrigued by this concept for some time and believe there's validity here... Particularly around the true purpose/mechanism of action of things such as the pyramids in Giza.
It does, but that also depends. For some odd reason, after developing ptsd I never got sick again. Sometimes I'll feel a sore throat, or my dry nose burning when breathing which was my indicator that it will progress into a sickness. Now I always feel totally fine the next morning. Coincidence, maybe, but everyone's body is different. I am definitely grateful for that, even though I get super stressed over little things now.
Doesn't sound like that movie has anything in common to what Seth says. 'Seth Speaks: The Eternal Validity of the Soul' is, in my opinion, one of the most important works we have. If you want to learn about consciousness and reality, then this is a very good place to start. I read most of his other works as well, and I can say that there's no indication that the information is dangerous in any way. It's a major revelation. Mankind really did miss the boat on this. Beliefs will prevent you from even looking at it, however. When I first came across the book in around 1977, I said to myself that I would not touch that book with a ten-foot pole! but I was wrong as well. I was trying to understand my life at that time and was not willing to listen to just someone else's beliefs about it. But the information is not belief it's knowledge. And it's easy enough to verify for oneself. ~cheers

I was recently sick and had trouble sleeping. I used CBD cannabis oil, a melatonin tablet and acupressure massage on the heels of my palms.I really couldn't sleep and this worked. I dont use the C.D.B oil now .Follow down your hand from the center of your little finger and the next one. There's a little bump on the heel across from the thumb . Massage this for 30 seconds and repeat procedure on the other hand. It seems to work. This information came from a Dr. Mandell on U-tube. It seemed to work. Happy Sleeping!!!
Hey Ken, first off, thank you so much for doing what you do. Your videos are downright stupendous. I am wondering whether you have any information or knowledge of the electrical properties of trees and thus forests as a whole. A sustained electrical potential (voltage) difference between the tree and the soil could provide some very cheap usable electricity.
