Probably a soy boy judge who just doesn’t like Sean Strickland. These judges need to be dealt with. I know the UFC can’t really do much about it but damn, they will ruin the sport if these bad calls keep coming.
I know I am Noone but I have an idea. Why not just have the assigned refs who aren't, at the moment reffing a fight, judge the fights? As refs, they're already non biased and know what they're looking for as far as point system. Just my 2 cents.
Why do I feel like Dana set that up? The UFC and their sponsors, such as Disney, absolutely hate Strickland. He was robbed before in the Dricus fight, and now this. The UFC would have kicked him down to prelims if he lost here, and I feel like that was their aim/hope.
Strickland can never get a fair judge. At least it was only 1 judge this time. Look at the DuPlessis fight, the judges stripped him of his belt. Probably Democrat judges scoring against him. 😢
Its crazy how the judges can literally score a fight anyway they want with zero consequences. Like it could be life and death with Dricus almost murdering Izzy and guaranteed some judge will just give a 10-9 izzy anyway
Even a nobody like me watching the Sean's performance and thought WTF. Why they gave a split decision. Why it isn't a Unanimous win. What's wrong with those ref? Sean's cardio level was insane, till the end of 5th round
Man I feel like they’re just trying to normalize bad judging so we just get used to it. Two guys are in a fight with their careers and health on the line and a judge gives a ridiculous decision like that. Then when they ask the boss, he says it’s a terrible decision, laughs it off and onto the next question. Now if this happens once or twice every event, eventually they will be able to push whoever they want and the fans will go “yeah that sucks but horrible judging is part of the game”. NO ITS NOT DUDE! This isn’t soccer. Peoples’ lives are on the line and most fighters arent even that well paid! All this just so betting companies can gain an extra advantage. Soon you will see there will he a huge robbery that will benefit the bookmakers and make a lot of bettors lose a lot of money. Wait and see
How are these judge’s appointed in the first place. They should be throughly checked out and see if they’re even worthy enough to call big fights before given the chance. Agree with Dana , back to judging minor leagues and get educated.
And so should many other judges that have judge wrongly,causing wrong results for other fighters.So if some past fights wrong decision could be changed,we would have differents have the belt and be world champion now.

Remember that Dave tirelli and Derek cleary and Eric colon are ALL friends and have been all comnected to every controversial decision since they've started and clearly and colon cost Sean against dricus and the only judge that scored in favor of costa was tirelli not a coincidence

There needs to be a standard for refs, most of them ref based on damage done from sig strikes but some base it off leg kicks and jabs. In that case Paulo had a 20 to 1 ratio of leg kicks to Strick
That judge was on such a high horse sense he got the news he was a judge in such a big fight that is until DANA WHITE give his thoughts on the judging and as he herd dana say this about him his balls crawled all the way into his own throat
