It was Joe who told the UFC that he didn’t want to interview fighters after they were KO’d. Before that he was just doing what he was told. Both O’Malley and Conor waved Joe over to them after their injuries because they wanted to say something on the mic so he obliged. How do people not understand this?

Nobody does commentating better, I grew up with fear factor, now this man will go down in history as one of the most memorable on screen tv entertainer of all time. Much respect all the way from Vermont, Mr.Rogan.

I got nothing bad to say about Joe Rogan I love his role in the UFC and his podcast. I've learned so much about MMA from listening to his commentary since I started watching back when Chuck liddell was in his prime.

Joe Rogan makes every fight sound like its the co-main or main event.. He gives pre-lim fighters as much respect as he gives top fighters.. Hes definitely one of the reasons why the UFC rose so quickly..

During the ice bucket he wasn’t yelling at Jose and Rena he was yelling at the commissioners cleaning it😂

I remember that Maynard fight, he was claiming he was cheated. Joe was pointing out that no one cheated him, he knocked himself out.

The ice bucket thing was Joe looking out for the fighters who have to fight around spilled ice. You slip in that with your back foot and you're liable to tear something. It's definitely an angry moment of his but just because those guys can help in the training and preparation of a fighter but can't clean up 100% of the ice.

Joe is into martial arts. He's not a trained announcer. He doesn't try to make people look good or bad. He looks at the fight through his own unbiased opinion like a random audience member would. He looks at what's going on. And based what he sees he puts his thoughts out there based on his own knowledge

My favorite Rogan moment is during Diaz v McGregor 1 when he sounds like he is coaching Conor bc of the excitement level of the fight 🙌

Just so you know it was Joe Rogan's idea not to interview people after they've been knocked out. It was his choice and his decision to make that a Unwritten rule in the UFC

Joe Rogan has, through sheer will and dedication, became one of the most culturally significant men of our era if not the most. I love the guy for his open mindedness and willingness to hear both sides on the curtain. He may have some silly takes but at least they are his own unlike nearly every other celebrity out there. I wish more people were like him.

This new culture of bashing Joe Rogan is honestly exhausting. He’s a good man and he’ll be the one to come out on top once the dust settles.

I did judo and kick-box when I was younger. Friendly altercations are always 40% real, 60% fun, and for those who don't know how it is, it may seem to be the opposite. It is just how it is. Fighting requires you to identify your opponent as enemy, for the moment. So when you make a strategic decision, it might seem like an intention to go off on your target, but it is not. It always seems weird and somehow it builds respect toward your fellow, because you get a taste of being their enemies, again, for the moment.

I love Joe Rogan and I've always loved his authentic commentary in the MMA. I want to know his true opinion because he's knowledgeable about the fighters, their strengths, weaknesses, and how the industry operates! Biased commentary is his calling card and I love it!

Joe rogan is definitely a key component to why I follow the UFC scene 👍🏼

To be fair, Joe has said that he does not like the idea of interviewing a fighter right after they’ve been knocked out. That’s not him choosing to do it. And actually him speaking up about it is the reason they don’t do it anymore. (Or not as regularly, with the exception of fighters who choose to be interviewed, or fighters that lost but did not lose consciousness)

Why can I imagine Joe rogen casually putting someone into an armbar and randomly saying “So this is why chimpanzees are the most terrifying creatures on the planet”

All the fighters know exactly who Joe is and know his background with MMA and marshal-arts. Joe use to fight himself and is very knowledgeable in the fighting world. Whenever he’s talking to the fighters about something they did, they’re gonna learn from him. He’s not just a commentator lol

I think he is an intelligent and naturally curious person and it drives his thirst for knowledge. I also love his awareness of some of his defects and open willingness to explore them.

I seen that fight between Maynard and Emerson multiple times cuz I have the Ultimate Fighter season 5 DVD set and there were times that Joe let Maynard state his opinions... so yeah!
