Of course they go after Purdy first and say he’ll be worse. Those talking heads can’t stand that the 49ers just found a good franchise QB in the 7th. He’s doing it with smoke and mirrors, it’s all deception .

ESPN is in denial…they didn’t have a good grade on Brock, prior to the draft and can’t believe he’s playing as well as he is..’it must be fluke..he can’t be that good….”….all of these predictions are based on licking his finger and putting it straight up to see where the wind is coming from….injuries are going play a big part in the success of Pearsall and Cowing….Kyle holds rookie receivers close to the vest…

I think he's expecting Purdy to regress because the other teams are gonna study what the Chiefs did to them in the super bowl, and attack Brock that way. He';ll see fewer zones, since man coverage worked so well against them. They don't believe he will adjust

Agreed. But not every team got an elite back field like the chiefs did. But 49ers got some technicians on that wide receiver roster. I feel like Kyle is going to be more aggressive this year since he knows brock got that him in him.

People for whatever reason disregard that young QBs improve when it comes to Purdy. He could regress, but i don't see it if hes healthy. Probably has more yards and more attempts this year. If he has a 9.5YPA again this year that would be ridiculous because less then 10 people have ever done it. Better o line, better weapons, largely depends on health. If he goes 35-8 TDs, over 9 an attempt and plays well with the game on the line, kid is a superstar. It will be interesting what excuses people will come up with if he has another great year.

I think 12 wins is VERY low.....name 5 teams that can beat them...KC maybe at SF, GB maybe at GB(cold weather) and Bills at Highmark(cold weather)...That's all I see and if you want to throw in a loss that shouldn't just because they do sometimes (maybe Detroit at home) I see 4 losses max and honestly 2 losses wouldn't surprise me. Now of course ALL of that is barring major injuries.

@@TM-eo8eb no and. It was just a response to Larry's prediction. As for built to win on the road...that just means the team is good and will contend for a championship. Win on the road in regular season so you can stay home for the playoffs. No team has good odds of making to the Superbowl, if it has to be done on the road. Even the 49ers. Shanahan, of late, has team winning on the road, especially in eastern time zone. Similar to 80s 49ers. The dynasty teams won once, in Chicago. Harbaugh's teams were pretty good at it. Made Superbowl once, on the road. Current 49ers? Not yet. The 49ers are 8-11 in NFC championship games. 2-7 on the road. 6-4 at home. Overall 6-13 on road, in playoffs. Not too bad. But no Superbowls. So, yeah, win on road so they can get home field and the bye, and hope for the best. It's about time they win another Superbowl. Go 49ers. 🙂

😂 Wow predictions without training camp? Offense. More targets. But O-line has to get better. Brock could have a down yr, after 2 yrs of great. Chief gave team a way to beat Niners. Pressure Brock. Press cover WRs. Add Pearsall n Cowing. How does Kyle get Deebo, BA, Cmc, Kittle, Jennings n Pearsall, Cowing. Usually, Kyle doesn't start rookies. More 4 WRs set. New greatest show ot turf 2? Defense has new DC n Assistant HC. New vets D-lines n CBs players. More pressure from side opposite Bosa n from DTs will help sacks. Have a lot CBs which will help rush. New kick off rule. Nobody knows how to defend or attack yet. Learning curve for teams. Change game n roster make-up? Go Niners. Let the camp battles begin.

Purdy sucked vs great defenses and he sucks if even one of his stars is out. Don’t see his stars being as healthy, so he’s unlikely to have a better year.

I guess you didn't watch any of the games. Purdy won second, third and fourth start without Deebo a barely played in his fifth start. He actually played better against the top defenses.

They scored 100+ against Jacksonville, Dallas, and Pittsburgh, three teams either with good defenses, or Ds that were playing really well at the time. All after having no off season as a 23 year old. He was awesome against Detroit in the second half (a quote from Todd Mcshay). Every quarterback has bad games, and Purdy also was fucking amazing in about 12 of them. Maholmes played awful at times last year. You're welcome to have your opinion, it just happens to suck.

Listen, Kurt will be done in the middle of the season because of their week offensive line and they might come in second place in the division because of their secondary is not very good
