Aww, thanks. After a few rides, I see this scooter really does rely on the regenerative brake.

From where you fell I would check the handlebar lights to make sure those haven't been damaged and you can still take off the cap. I've fallen a few times on this scooter (first time riding) and it's still held up really well. Only issue is the handlebar caps on it are really cheap, so they can break in a way where it make's it impossible to take it off and makes it hard to be able to put on other ones if the pieces break inside of the grooves. And yeah, you're right about the back of that grip tape. Even with adding more glue to mine I've had a hard time being able to keep that on. But nit picks aside, the only real issue with this scooter is the range, but you already have another scooter for that.

When I got home, I checked the caps and had to change one because my right cap cracked. I know the end caps aren’t protected. I’ll try Gorilla Glue on my deck this weekend to see if it helps. The same thing happened on my Punk Rider Pro. Once I put Gorilla Glue on the mat, it hasn’t moved. It’s amazing how effective that stuff is.

@@MrMotoMotivate Yeah gorillla glue will keep them in place. That's what I ended up doing on my end caps as they kept falling off. Before you do that though see if you can get apollo to send you some replacement caps if you still have the warranty for the original owner. When mine broke it ended up breaking one of the lights, but I ended up getting 2 caps with a new light. Otherwise they're cheap so not a big deal if you don't.

How was your Monday commute? I'm actually scared to take my Punk Rider Pro downtown all the way as of yet. I did get a, I want to say 20 miles in on the Punk Rider Pro. I would have did more, but sadly there's a lot of construction on 294.

My first day on the Apollo Go was a success. I kept reminding myself that it’s not a small Punk Rider Pro. I’m accustomed to zipping around at 31 mph. It takes a lot of effort to slow down to 25 mph, but the portability was incredibly convenient when I jumped on the Metra to go home today. It was definitely worth it!

I’m taking notes as I am watching. First start using the regenerative break more. If you haven’t go into the app and you can use it at maximum setting and it feels good. I almost never use the regular break unless there is an emergency. So in this case this is what’s different from the Punk Rider you can use the regenerative break without worrying about shut downs. You also have to be more careful when on sidewalks with the Apollo Go. It’s honestly safer to ride on paths and streets. Be very careful on sidewalks also make sure you change the speeds. You can go in and change them for each gear. My Apollo Go has a sidewalk speed and traffic speed. 3:58 Haha the back lip isn’t going to come off like the Punk Rider pro. Now what will happen is the hook will eventually just keep falling down lol 4:33 I warned you lol you’re going to feel the bumps on the Apollo Go. You have to be very careful when it comes to bumps and going into pot holes. Well, the Apollo Go is fine with what it does, it isn’t designed to handle Chicago streets lol. 8:51 Dude the piece isn’t going to come off. Lol The Punk Rider has you paranoid. All that is, is tape that you can put back on in fact Apollo teaches you on how go take it on and off in their repair channel but just leave it on. I’m going to be honest you should have just bought the new Apollo Phantom which has the look of the Go and Pro with features your used to. Also don’t let that little beast fool you its dual motor. Also if you do your research you can buy a super charger for it though it’s not recommended. Apollo cancelled the Go super charger this summer but you can buy them off of amazon and get up to 91% in two hours half or if your near 50 an hour and a half. Imagine riding the Apollo Go down Roosevelt road in Cicero through Broadview (I have done it) imagine riding all the way on 16th I have done it. Now imagine riding the Apollo go from Oakbrook on Cermack from Oak Brook Mall east I have done it. The Apollo Go is amazing but you felt its drawbacks. Remember that thing is a beast but it is still very weak in certain areas. Also the tires suck.

I agree that the tires need to be changed. However, I’m curious about how long you can ride on them. If the Phantom is built like the Punk Rider Pro, then yes, I’ll get it. However, that top speed of the Stellar version has my attention, although I’m still researching both.

@@MrMotoMotivate At 240 pounds going in and out of max speed you can get about 16 miles. This is what I got during the summer.
