I did this two days ago. I had my stylist cut off my locs so that I could get small lots in about three months. She also change my hair color. I feel like it’s starting over, and my husband is OK with it. You should always do what’s best for you and your family and not allow others to tell you differently.

I get the comment, it's a compliment really. Her hair is mesmerizing and lovely. I've shaved my hair too so I know how liberating it feels. And I've been at the place where my hair density and thickness drove me to shave my hair again and again because the upkeep is so time consuming and tedious. But it was still difficult watching all that long beautiful hair get cut in this video. I wish her all the best on her new hair journey!
