Just think. If we didnt have the internet and youtube, we might have never even heard of Band-Maid. So damn thankful to witness their talent, sound, and contagious energy.
Red Rose Miku, Sept. 14, 2017 interview: At the Band forming nobody in our band had done "Hard Rock" so we had started without knowing anything - we have grown greatly musically as a Band.
To continue, the band enjoys doing it very much! The drum solo is awesome and Kanami shreds so well! It's only easy cause they practice so hard! The performances are the fun and pay off for them, and for the fans! Band-Maid rocks!
This is one song you expect to see in their setlist whenever they perform. This is their favorite song they like to perform live. *Most played songs* 🐦 FREEDOM (138) 🐦 REAL EXISTENCE (118) 🐦 alone (114) 🐦 Don't you tell ME (114) 🐦 Choose me (108) _(BAND-MAID: Girls Just Want to Have Fun)_ *Akane* pounds that 5 piece like it owes her money.
I've been making music for money since 1966 and this is the best live band I have ever heard. Because Miku insisted on "My Way! My Way! My Way!," we now have the best rock band on the planet.
What I love about this song, aside from Akane Kicking Ass, is MISA's bass line. She has no solo or look at me moment, she just chugs that bass like she's doing a three minute solo in the background. They're all so good.....
MISA taking lead on this one with her bass. Great sound BTW, the bass really stands out. We'll be seeing new material from the Maids over the next couple of months capped off by the Budokan show in February (hopefully)!!!
@@crabuki1273 On Fri 13th a pipe burst & flooded my kitchen. You would've loved it giant Crabuki cos of all the water. Plumbers are replacing some old pipework tomorrow so I should be back on track. "YAY" I hear you shout, whilst also doing a scuttling jig :)
@@crabuki1273 OMG. That's one happy giant Crabuki then. Hillbillies playing banjos tho still makes me wary of going white water rafting any time soon :)
The talent that these ladies possess is unreal, we have already said that, but to play the whole thing so perfectly live and make it seem effortless is really something that I think you rarely get to see and hear. And on top of that, they have fun and seem to have the time of their lives doing it. I totally agree that every single one of these girls was born to be a rock star! By the way, there's a rumor that the drum solo wasn't even planned. In an interview it was said that a spider got 'lost' over Akane's drum kit. And after a while this spider was so impressed that even she stopped and turned around to applaud Akane with respect. 😂🤘🏻
Another great reaction! Yes, cell phones aren't allowed at Japanese concerts. It's the main difference in concerts world-wide between the late 90's and now. I don't have any shaky, out-of-focus video or photos of when I saw the likes of Sabbath, Zeppelin, Floyd (and even Bootsy Collins with Parliament and Funkadelic) back in the 70's and 80's - but I do have a head load of great memories. Talking of Zeppelin, Jimmy Page saw them play in 2016 and went backstage so HE could get a photo with Akane, the drummer, and tell the band how good they were. They are THE best live Rock band on Earth right now and, with their upcoming 2021 performance at Budokan ahead of them as well as more world domination, will be for a while yet. There are some other great songs from this same Feb 2020 performance available - CHOOSE ME: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-HcqitbXgigU.html PLAY: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-3LxX_t4vg7U.html and WONDERLAND: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-x4hxLeHbqZo.html . So, anyway...when is your next Babymetal reaction due? :)
They are amazing, probably the best female musicians in the world right now, and they would give any male group a run for their money. You should react to "The Non-Fiction Days", it also has some fantastic drum work from Akane Hirose. Like I've heard said, Akane brings the thunder and Kanami brings the lightning. And Misa on bass helps put it all on an even keel. Just amazing. Going to Japan to see Band-Maid, Wagakki Band and BabyMetal is on my bucket list. I never thought at 70+ I would be getting into metal and Asian music. It's just an indictment on how poor American music has become, a lot of fluff and no real substance.
