No need to apologize for watching it over again. We Band-Maid fans have been doing that forever. I rewatch their videos over and over. I've lost count on how many times that I have watched Thrill!

I've said this before on other channels, but this is the best rock instrumental I have heard in over 50 years.

This was my first Band Maid song. Listened to it like 3-4 times in a row, been hooked ever since.

Now imagine them playing this live in front of you ... Even their better live videos don't totally prepare you to their amazing concerts. Saw them less than one year ago and my dearest wish is to see them again!

I think this is probably my 100th time watching Onset official live videos and reaction videos. Everytime I watch this, it gives me goosebumps (this is how much I love this instrumental masterpiece)

This is Kanami at her best music writing, the band at its best with the arrangement, and their superb musicianship. As to the other bands, they are dependent on studio "tricks"". The use of session musicians, autotune, skilled audio engineers, and producers. We audience let them get away with because "their cool". Asian groups/bands are taught/trained to perform live in front of very discerning audiences who have high expectations. That why you are hearing what you're hearing from Band-Maid. Everyone BE SAFE, sheltering in California.

The ladies of Band Maid always leave you wanting more! I believe that’s the only criticism I’ve ever heard for them- having to end a song.💪🏻🤘🏻

So agree with you. Mind blowing and what a live band!!. Had just the same reaction as you, could not believe what I saw and heard. There are no weak link in that band. Hi skilled everyone and tribute to the sound and performance with their own personality and "tweaks". It so detailed and advance with a pace from Akane that is breath taking. This is my favourite band for the moment and I`m born up with Deep Purple and Led Zeppelin and all those dinosaurs. I`m so glad to have discovered these girls which in my opinion bring the heritage of the old rock school forward and renew it..last but not least..I get happy when I hear them.

Consider this: Kanami lead guitar classically trained pianist. Misa, bass classically trained pianist. Akane, drums classical trombone., guitar then drums, Miku some time as singer in Japanese idol programme, Saiki independent singer. They are all highly talented, highly trained musicians with a typical Japanese work ethic - they work much harder than western groups and are generally much higher qualified. That's why they are better live and don't need all the studio tricks. They' re the best rock band in the world bar none.

the lead guitar (her name is Kanami) is a huge fans of Carlos Santana, on some other songs you'll find that her "guitar character" really Santana-ish.

I’ve never heard a more talented band in my life, MEN OR WOMEN, compared to BANDMAID! THEY ARE UNBELIEVABLE TO SAY THE LEAST! They have changed my whole opinion on Rock and Roll and what is possible by 5 band members, not to mention “5 PETITE JAPANESE GIRLS”! I had just run across the girls a couple days prior, watched every last official video on their channel multiple times, made my first iTunes purchase EVER (and first money spent on new music in DECADES) when I called up a friend of mine who had played guitar professionally in Japan back in the 90s. "Dude, I just found THE MOST AMAZING Japanese band! and they're all girls! and all dressed up li...." "Oh, you found Band-Maid, here, let me send you a link" ONSET. I swore I had no idea it could get any more amazing than what I had already listened to.

Here we go 👌🍾 This song introduced me in band maid world. I was shocked when i heard this one for the first time. For me it s the essential of rock in that opus. That s rock, that s groove, no break time, all instruments are in the zone, Misa bass is so great, Hakane drums is so good a'd both guitare are ridiculous good. All sounds so good. 20/20. Next step for me, it s to see and hear Miku, the rythm guitare do a solo on instru like that. After that i think it ll be perfect.

Aah nice, 'Onset', also known as Saiki's pee break, haha. Every time I listen to this song, it's like it puts me in a trance. No other band can come close to the feelings Band Maid is able to give me. If you look really close at Misa's bass solo you can see that she's switching between the pick and her fingers seamlessly. She just tucks it in her hand and goes at it and all that while playin' a solo. It's absolutely ridiculous. I really hope 'Play' live is high up on your list, I have the feeling it will blow you away. That's what it did to me at least, but you got so much more to see man, can't wait for the next one!

This is seriously awesome... What an insanely talented group of ladies... After listening to some of their songs, is it just me, but I keep getting Dance Gavin Dance vibes. That bit when the guitars go dit dulitidit dit dulitidut... or something like that... Sounds like a bit from Stroke God Millionaire.

Like honestly these ladies are my favorite band, have been for over a year now. But to me the best thing about them, isnt their amazing musicianship, catchy as f*** riffs, beautiful stage presentation and sound, it's just how much damn fun they all seem to be having when they play. Akane is just always smiling and making cute faces all show long, Kanami loses herself in her playing and it's beautiful to watch, Misa quietly dominating the show like the assassin she is, Miku just high on life jumping around like the little pigeon she is, and last but definitely not least, Saiki's ability to command that stage and audience, and keep every single person in that crowd hanging on to her every word. Nothing even compares to these ladies, they are miles ahead of any current rock band out there, and hope to see them start playing more international tours when life stops being so shitty.

This is Band Maid's idea of a filler. Just done to give Saiki a vocal break in the show! I've seen other bands pad out 1/2 their sets with filler that sucks really bad, dotting a few hits in between shit. Band Maid's filler is all killer!!!!!😁

So short? This is why the girls remind me of the Fab Four. Hard working band. Make show. Just give you enough. Too short? If you want to hear more, you put their songs on repeat. This is what the best do. Ego? Yes. The ego that makes them do their best for their audience, and clearly they’re over the moon doing that. Talent, creativity, years of hard work, and total respect for the audience. As a lifelong Beatles fan come very late to these girls, I use the word ‘Fab’ meaning exactly what I say.
