PART 2 from the ParkStadion TOMORROW 👉🏾 SUBSCRIBE so you don’t miss that for more of Schalke’s history and to see what else I bought from the Schalke Club Shop ⚽️💙
Would not surprise me if the club shop was shut you dont have much luck with German club shops most of the time, they seem to be shut when you go, lol. I have a lot of time for Schalke 04 I come from a mining area back home in Gelsenkirchen, it was cole , back home It's still iron ore they mine for. The village has a well built buy the minners I would not recommend drinking from it the water has iorn through it thinking back in the day was it was good for you. Keep Safe.
@@alanfox691 haha was lucky as it was a Friday I visited the shop/ground 😅 seems to be weekends the club shops close. Much respect for Schalke and the area 🍻🤝🏼
@RysFootyParadise That's good you got lucky. Always watching as much football as possible personally. Big fan of Italian , German, Dutch & South American club football.
@@TheLostynot perfect, but far better stadiums than in England,i've been in England at stadiums in different leagues, even the ones in Premier League are kinda...outdated,only 5-6 stadiums who are XXI century...
@@alincirstescu4732 beer in English stadiums is just whatever bottles they have in the fridge and you can’t drink them outside the area you bought them at inside the stadium. You can’t take them to your seat like in Germany.
@@seanlocke2228 i'm not talking about beer,i was saying in general,English stadiums are awful (ticket prices also very expensive, for example,I paid 26 pounds to watch a game in a 4th division tier,Premier League goes well over 100 pounds...) it is just a rip off, just business for them(owners)
@@signoresantinoburnett1169 I mean they were punished for their financial problems and got relegated all the way to the bottom of the Scottish league pyramid, so probably.
The "Art" Room is actually an Chapel , German People or more so Schalke people tend to say Schalke is like an Religion. So the Chapel was integrated. The Beer Tanks are in an Section and the beer is pumped all over the Stadium, in an average Home Game the amount drunk is around 40000 l. Nice Tour, have a nice trip, im from Bochum actually, but an Die Hard Schalke Supporter.
The Gate at 3:01 was open. You could have just walked inbetween the Pitches to get to the external Shop and it would have taken you about 2 minutes lmao. Thats the most common way to get to the arena from Charlys Kneipe.
The room with the art work is a church :D you can let your child baptize there and you can mary there, which many fans really do because you have to know Schalke is the sense of live of many of its fans and will be.
E the minion .... Ry, you should contact our Martin Thiele, he is THE expert for german football and football stadions😊 and these stadion is the best ever built with ♡ and sweat! ...and we call the Kkkkkkkkknappen .. not nappen! There are a voiced 'K' before, please and not only amazed by the beer pipes!!😅 and if you say 'currywurst', please show the 'currywurst', not only the fries😅 the real is served in a baked roll😊!!
i like you mate xD but the english fans were SO HORRIBLE the last cups, the worst fans i ever have the unfortune to see in my whole life, that i think all of europe maybe expect bosnia will be rooting for serbia like its their own nation playing xD and even bosnia probably will be like "jaeh we had wars against them and there was atrocities and stuff ... but rather them then england"
Been waiting for this one! I like to keep an eye on Schalke since I caught a ripping Revierderby last year which ended in a tie...they saw it as a win and Dortmund acted like it was a loss🙃
No criticism and it has been written a lot in the past but if you see a "V" in German it is almost always pronounced much like an "F" in English. So it sound like "Feltins"-Arena. Unfortunately, the "Vonovia" Stadion actually is not pronounced with an "F" as Vonovia but like an English "V" as it is a made up word. And average attendance at Schalke is >60k even in the 2nd league.
At 7:48 that hurt my feelings as a dortmund fan lol We are actually the 2nd biggest club in terms of members, not schalke. We both are always very close in terms of member numbers, and we both only update them every 3-6 months or so but not at the same time. So when schalke updates theirs, they are ahead, and when we update ours, we are ahead. Additional context is also that their membership is far cheaper than ours
Moral of the story - I should never use Wikipedia as a resource for information 🤣👍🏾 haha cheers mate. Hope you smash Real in a couple weeks. Will be at Wembley filming the atmosphere outside, but can’t get a ticket 😭🍻
it'll take me years to complete every ground from all over the world 😅 I am going to be more journalistic next season though and head to places to report team news etc!
Fun Facts: There are only 2 important football matches played at this stadium: 1.2004 UEFA Champions League Final (Porto vs Monaco). 2.England vs Portugal in 2006 World Cup QF, which saw Wayne Rooney's infamous sent off and Cristiano Ronaldo's Portugal knocked England out on penalties.
