First day put a little curd in the cream and keep for few hours outside to become a curd. Then keep in freezer. Then following days just put the cream and directly keep in freezer. It is butter. Otherwise it is only cream.

Like a dairy technology u demonstrated the method of making butter and ghee .....I remember my working days in various Aavin in Tamilnadu with many dairy technologists...who are all will not disclose the dairy technics.....evev with their friends... In 70s... A course Bsc Home science was running in Madras university... butter making in home in the curriculum.. Best wishes to you.
In our child hood days our Patti , periyamma add velakkerrai like Kari leaves. The best aroma of the ghee gives this kerrai. Now a days we have not got the kerrai Also drumsticks leaves use in the ghee. That's also very fine. End of the preparation small quantity of curd mixed and then switch off the stove.
