I got hired!!! Saw you for the first time ever 11 days ago on this video. I applied to Pearson and Measurement Inc. Sent in my new hire paperwork last night to MI! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! I had no idea this type of position even existed before last week! And I've been applying for remote jobs for over a year!
Hey everyone! ☺️ If you applied for the FLEXIBLE schedule with Pearson, and they are sending you an offer for the FIXED schedule, simply decline that offer and wait for an offer with a flexible schedule. They will still send fixed schedule offers to those of us who only want to work flexibly. It’s always been that way. Just decline it, you will get another offer. You may even get a few fixed project offers in a row before they send a flexible one.
This is exactly why I love registry nursing because I’m not bound to corporate rotating prison schedule 😮I only need 3 😊12 hour shifts when I want them weekly.
I got hired for Pearson! I’ve been working for them for almost a month now. I applied to both Measurement Incorporated and Pearson. I didn’t pass qualification for MI but I did for Pearson. Good luck everyone! Apply! Apply!Apply!
Hi QueenPicj I'm a retired teacher. This is my second year working for Pearson. (I did not go through the young lady who did this video). I like it because I work on projects that have a beginning date and an ending date. When the project is done, I am done. I also work for a company that does reading pull-outs from September to December 15th just in time for the Christmas holiday. I love it. I had to go through fingerprinting to work with the pull-out groups because, of course, I am working "live" online with the students. I work with students from different states, and I love it. After I retired I wanted to continue working but on my own terms and I found the perfect opportunity that works for me. I just returned from my Spring break trip to England, Rome, and Paris and I just got a letter from Pearson, we are getting ready to start scoring in April. Good Luck, I wish you well. I will be done just in time for my summer vacation. #LoveRetirement!
3/6/24 - Hey everyone! Wow this video really took off. 😅 Congrats to everyone who has gotten to apply so far! Just a reminder for the new people coming in, as more people continue to apply, the jobs will eventually close. The links won’t stay active forever and the jobs will be removed until the next scoring season, so if you want to apply, apply while you can! 😀 with over 30k views, that means a few thousand people have applied. They are going to eventually close the links soon. Good luck!
@@sadebaby121hey girl! Congrats! I have never worked with DRC, I put them in the description bar because other subscribers have worked there. It’s surprising that they do interviews, Pearson and Measurement don’t do interviews. Good luck!!
Thank you so much for this video. I work from home as an esl teacher and over the past 3 years the classes and pay have dropped dramatically. I also am a stay at home mom so this will fit perfectly into my schedule. I was just journaling about my worries with my income and today your video popped up in my recommended. God is amazing!
@@lovelylasean Update: I applied to all links on the same day except Marco. That application took me two days but I finally got it done. I have an interview with DRC tomorrow. I haven't heard back from the others yet. I believe MI requested my diploma which I turned in on Friday.
I did this as a teacher over the summer and it paid $500/day for us for the Regents. It was glorious. It's a great job (as a nerd) and I'm applying for all of them for ELA!
My husband just got hired for this position. I told him about it and he applied about a month ago and they just approved his transcripts today. Thanks so much. He's excited to start!
I came back to your video to say thank you!!! I got hired I was able to work this season and I made enough to get me by. Now I’m looking for something else but I just want to thank you for putting this up. This was my first time ever seeing you and watching one of your videos and it was a godsend so thank you again.
Hey Chiquita! You’re welcome! I’m glad you were able to get hired. You won’t have to reapply to work with them next year. They will send you an invite for a project in late Winter or Spring. You can try RWS or Telus International for right not. They are always hiring.
This video has over 150K views in a 3 week time frame, that means thousands applied, and have gotten hired since the video went live. At some point soon, they will stop hiring for this season. With such a large amount of applicants, everyone will not get hired or get a project this season. If you have Any questions about your application, please contact the company. I do not work for the company and cannot give any follow-up info on your application. If you came to the video too late and the links are no longer active or you applied and never heard back, simply keep these companies in mind and reapply next scoring season. You can also try applying with the company DRC, they are not as flexible as Pearson and MI, and there will be an interview. I have never worked with them, so I don't have any more info on them, but they are still hiring, here is the link ~ careers.datarecognitioncorp.com/jobs/24221-test-scorer-remote-full-time-days-mon-fri
When you spoke about not wanting to be tied down by a 9-5 job, that really resignated with me. I totally feel you and am taking steps to get out of that situation and move towards multiple streams of income that will allow me the freedom to control my time. Thank you for this video.
You’re so welcome! In 2011 when I started working from home, I decided to face the fact that working “traditional” jobs just wasn’t for me. My mom didn’t understand my decision, but I pressed on. I worked for a company called Liveops, and I also worked multiple side hustles like mystery shopping and scoring to make full time income. I also started my RU-vid channel, but it took a few years to make money from it. The freedom and flexibility that I had was unmatched, and I haven’t worked a traditional job since, being able to be there for my kids who were young at the time was amazing. If something happened and I absolutely had to go back to the regular workforce, of course I would, but it’s been 13 years and I been grinding it out, I wish you nothing but success! 🙌🏾
When I tell you this video just POPPED UP in my face and I was just praying!!! I was afraid that I’d missed it but I seen that there’s still time. I have experience in the subject area and hold a Master’s Degree and I’m definitely going to reach out. Thank you
I’ve applied and Measurement doesn’t have any openings at the moment but I will email over my documentation in time for December. Thank you so much, I believe that this is for me. Thanks so much for sharing
Hey everyone! I forgot to mention, for Pearson, you simply log into their scoring system. For Measurement Inc, you will download their scoring system. No complicated equipment or anything needed! Super simple. 😀
Hey everyone! Since this video dropped a week ago, some of my subbies have already gotten hired with Pearson! If you're looking for more companies that hire fast that I applied, interviewed with, and received offers from, check out my new video here! -> ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-eH5deTMPLYg.html
Thank you so much for this. I have been looking for flexible part time work for months after being laid off. I'm hopeful this will work out for me! You're out here doing God's work 💕
Just wanted to pop on here and say thank you girl for your channel and the work you do finding these jobs for us. I got hired at Measurement Inc. last week and just waiting to start getting assignments once onboarding is completed
Tu so much your list was actually real ❤😊 update 2days later I've already got a interview she has another link with a list of jobs the list is golden...thanks again❤
I applied to Measurement Inc yesterday after seeing this video. I just uploaded a copy of my degree as they requested. I hope that means I got it. I told them you referred me Lasean. Thank you so much. I am hoping to start soon.
@@lovelylasean I hope so. I am praying that is how this works out. Pearson asked if I want to be a supervisor. I was like hold up nah. I told them I was interested, completed the paperwork and haven’t heard anything else.
@@MsJandavisyes. They will ask you that too, I may do a follow up video on some things I forgot to mention. They must really need a lot of people this season because normally they close out the links, but I just checked and they are still open. I’m glad you got your apps in and all your stuff done. Keep me posted! 😊
I submitted my info to Pearson and Measurement on the 6th. I heard back from Measurement and submitted my transcipts on the 8th. I have not heard from Pearson yet. I'm hoping to get on with at least one of these. Thank you for the leads!
I wanted to say Thank You! I had previously applied with Measurement, but I never actually went through with the project, but I had gotten an email earlier this year saying that I was eligible for this scoring season. I re-signed back up after being encouraged from watching this video weeks ago, and I will be officially starting my training with Measurement tomorrow! I'm so excited to have this side gig and can't wait to get started!
Great information. Thanks for sharing! Im applying asap. I own a consulting agency and these opportunities will help with cashflow in btw clients. Update 3/6 - I was contacted by Pearson & Measurement the next day after I applied. I sent my transcripts and now waiting for next steps. The process is moving quickly so far..
🙏 Im over here praying, raising twin girls all alone. Studying for my Bachelors (almost done). Constantly asking myself, what educational remote job can I do? While I’m substituting on-site k-12 /tutoring my twins/ laundry/ air fryer cooking (lol) etc… You are heaven sent! God Bless you! God Bless You! God Bless You! I have liked and subscribed. I will keep you updated, I’m applying for everything you’ve listed. 💎
Just wanted to thank you for the leads you provide daily. I applied with MI when your video first appeared and was hired. My first day was yesterday with my project and I realize this won't last long, but this little hustle is great for extra income as gas and groceries are getting higher daily. Have a blessed day.
Hey Tomeka! You’re so welcome! I’m glad so many of you have gotten hired! What a blessing! I’m training on a new project today, it’s math, so I don’t know if I will last long with this one.🤣
Thank you for providing this info! I just happened to run across your page, and I am so glad I did. I just applied for the Pearson job, and have my fingers crossed I get hired. I need a flexible remote job for extra income until my side business starts generating money. Thanks again!
Thanks for sharing these leads! I can attest to Macro Learning has a very length application process. Unfortunately my computer lost what I had saved. I'll look into these other ones though. I already applied to DRC and was moved to the next step.
I used to score SATs for Educational Testing Service many years ago. This represents a trip down memory lane for me. Thank you for making this video! 😊🙏🏾
Hey Sonya! Yes, I love being out in nature. It feels good! I wish we were having more sunny days lately here in GA, it’s been gloomy nearly everyday, but at least it’s warming up. 😀
I worked for Pearson several years ago & I LOVED it there! It was 2007 - 2010, and mostly on-site scoring. I think I'm going to check out doing the flexible scoring. They had only just begun to roll it out the last year I worked there. So good to hear they're hiring. Thank you! ❤
Wow, right on time! The thing that’s tripping me out, is that they have never left the links open for so long after I post about this job. This tells me that they need a lot of scorers this year. This is perfect for you right now! I’m glad the links are still active after over 90k views and so many people applying. Keep me posted!
I just typed in work from home not imagining what would pop up and here we are. I'm a retired educator and I tutor online for 2 companies, work my own hours here and there. I will be looking into this thank you so much for the info.
Thank you so much for your work as an educator. Yes, this would be great to add to your list of side hustles. I just got the email two days ago stating that the application for next year’s scoring season will open in November. I will do a new video and update everyone when that happens. 😀
I believe it was on one of your previous videos (a couple of years ago) that I learned of Pearson and subsequently got hired. Back at it this year. Thank you!
I'm usually a silent lurker but, I wanted to let you know that I have been qualified by MI and awaiting the onboarding email! Thank you for all the job leads you provide!
Oh, my goodness... THIS could be right up my alley!! I've been trying to find something, and this could be it. I have an education degree, as well as another degree. Whew! I'll be jumping on this asap!! Thank you.
@@lovelylasean I sure hope so!! Just checking, so, there's no problem working for both sites at the same time ... as long as you're willing to work the hours?
I just emailed them (Measurement Incorporated), and am hoping they get back to me. I am a foster mom and have a 10 month old, so this would be perfect! Thank you for sharing !! :0
I just applied to Pearson and they got back to me to complete their final application, and are currently reviewing! Will keep you posted! Do you know if pay can be increased at some point with Pearson from $15hr? I'm in AZ, so MI wasn't applicable to me.
Congrats!! 🤗 The pay will increase, but it will be many years. It started off at $12 hourly and took years to get $15, everyone is paid the same regardless of experience or location.
I’ve been “under consideration” for about 3 days now I hope that is a good sign . I can’t wait to hear back & get an offer I’m keeping positive. I’m excited! ❤ Will update if anything
LOL I don't think it's random that right around 4:50 you can see an orb go right behind you..... typically it's Archangel Michael if it's white I believe..... very nice! Divinely protected❤
I saw this video too late and the application was closed😔 but that’s okay I’ll try again next time! Super grateful for you sharing be a I didn’t know this existed! I’m a SAHM but opportunities like these are great for some extra income!
Thank you so much this information. I am a stay at home mom of 3 and I tried the customer service thing and it just was not for me. This seems like a great fit! I applied yesterday to MI and received an email that I qualified today!! I was curious to know whether you can use your tablet or only desktop? (Just so I can game plan how I can work around my toddler.) Thanks again!
Hey girl! I understand. I started working from home when my kids were younger, and this job came through in a clutch. I’m glad you are moving forward in the process! As far as a tablet is concerned, I don’t think you can use a tablet with MI, but I have used a tablet with Pearson in the past, even though we aren’t supposed to. 😆
@@VioletRed77755no, but you can work with writescore. It’s in the description bar of the video. I never worked with them, so I don’t have a lot of info on them.
I would be so good for this because of my detail eyes and im a single mom of 3 so the flexibility would be great😊 but I dont have a Bachelor's degree. Congratulations to all the one's who apply and got hired. God bless you all.
Hi JoJo, thank you so much for your kind comment. There is a job similar to this that you can do without a degree, it’s with Kean University. I looked to see if they were hiring for it now, but they aren’t. You can check their career section (maybe in the Spring) to see if it’s available. 😀
Hi, thanks so much! I don’t know of many jobs outside of the US. There are some other RU-vidrs who post those type of jobs regularly. From what I know, a few companies that hire outside of the US are Parexel, Gitlab, and Octane AI. There is also a company called proofreading services that hires proof readers worldwide. I hope that helps. 😊
I’m starting DRC on 3/18 I’m kinda concerned about the legnth of the assignments… you know of any side hustles like this one that could potentially start when scoring ends?
Congrats on getting on with DRC! As far as anything else like this, I am not sure. The company Acuity Insights used to have year round opportunities, but I don’t see those on the site anymore. 😫
Thankyou so much for your quick response. I'll check acuity periodically as well as stay tuned to your page I know you're going to have something for us @@lovelylasean
This used to be me, working at the beach, at my mom’s house, in the car on a road trip. I’m a nurse now. I beat my feet throughout the same one “wing” for twelve hours straight. I almost can’t stand it.
Wow! Thank you for what you do as a nurse. Yes, it’s very hard for some of us to be tied down all day. It’s miserable. I have to be able to move around.
They are no longer taking applications. I follow through on a LOT of these for extra $$$ gigs and they never pan out! I have a Bachelor’s and Master’s in English.
So many people applied and got hired from my video. You can always apply next season. I’ve been with these companies for many years, this one will pan out for you, just have to apply when the season first starts around Feb or early March.
Thank you Lasean! I applied to Pearson as soon as I watched your video. I got an email telling me to proceed to the next step. The thing is I got my bachelor’s degree on a foreign country, and it’s stated there that I should get a foreign equivalency report if ever I got hired. Is that really necessary? If yes, can you recommend institutions that can help me with that?
