The S15 service, a commuter train, starts in Rapperswil at the upper part of Lake Zurich and is followed by a (almost) non-stop ride through the Zurich Highlands before entering the city of Zurich. The line then continues further deep into Zurich Lowlands and reaches the terminus Niederweningen. The S15 service shares the first part of the line with the S5 service, but splits into an entirely different direction after reaching Zurich Main Station. The colourful trees are slowly starting to show on this train trip that ends up quite rural after leaving Zurich.
