Showing you the best views and emotions from the best job in the world. Cab Rides made in Switzerland.
Why the name? Travelling and specially train journeys can be quite emotional in a good way. We try to transport these emotions to the viewer who enjoys the look from our perspective. It does not matter if rail fan or not, the beautiful views from our rails onto Switzerland are for everyone!
1:15:25 I can no longer stand seeing these subscribe tags inserted in the image, I unsubscribe from the channels because of that to avoid seeing them. It's not suitable for this type of video, to which you don't forget to subscribe when you want to watch another one. I no longer subscribe because of that, but also because of the shorts, I only keep channels without shorts and without subscription... Thank you.
Really enjoyed this ride. I was wondering, as we got close to Zurich, we passed an out bound Rail Jet train consisting of 2 train sets with the second loco in the middle. Thought, are you driving a similar train. Well, you passed the neutral zone as we approached Zurich and cut your MCB to pass through it. Then it was some time before you closed it again. Longer tan I would think it took for your loco to pass. So were you waiting for that second loco in your consist to clear it also?
Well that was different. It felt a little restricted in pace in places. Must be hard for the signalers not to stop the train in a station not on the timetable. Hence the trip through a couple of storage yards. Did get to see death row or storage for Bm 6/6's. And always something new at Mullheim - Wigoltingen by the silo. Two loco ex-SOB ? in French freight colours of UTL?. Plus two very ornate Sputnik.
Thanks for seizing this rare opportunity and capturing it for us! Salute also to the timetabling team - some clever ducking and weaving allowed this diverted service to fit neatly into the regular intervals. Noticed you using the Roadrunner button there, that reminds me of something I meant to ask on the other RJ clip: is Roadrunner also available in the RJ cab car or only in the loco? Thanks again \m/
I was here a few vids ago saying that im in the process of becoming a traindriver myself. In the meantime i got the job and im starting in April😊 Thanks for the inspiration and training @railwayemotions :)
Is you’re Train from Feldkirch cuz i was in Zurich house ago and it Said that there where 2 cancelled railjets one from Bratislava and one from feldkirch
they're cancelled as they only drive until Salzburg due to the recent flooding that happened near St. Polten in eastern austria. Train Service is currently limited
I was on RJX 162 this summer, due to a overheadwire faillure we got diverted via Winterthur from Buchs! That was a fun route but not after we were already in the railjet since Vienna xD
I've been involved with airplanes all my life, but I love traveling on a train in a sleeper compartment. And if you happen to find a good fellow traveler, that's even better.🙂
@@Super_Chief I don't know what you mean. But I really respect communication on the train. An American can't understand it. Apparently loneliness is the scourge of Americans. Live communication is like drinking spring water. Arguments in the train are the last thing When there is nothing else to drink But the train is moving, the bottle is empty And it pulls you to talk...🤣You are simply depriving yourself. And this is very bad.
@@MultiMatrosik I mean exactly what I said. In the United States, you don’t have to “share” your sleeper with anyone. It’s all yours. But you got a lot to learn about Americans! 🇺🇸
@@Super_Chief Apparently you misunderstood me. In Russia there is a compartment for one person, but more common is a compartment for two people. These cars are called sleeping cars. But there are also compartments for four people. And there are compartment cars. For some reason, American tourists prefer them more.🤣They believe that this will make it easier to understand the Russian soul.😂
