Hi, it's Connie. If you liked this video or if you found it helpful, I'd appreciate if you would hit that subscribe button. Almost 99% of my viewers aren't subscribed, and I would really appreciate the boost. Thanks! Have you been trying to get to Ginzan? Did you know about this bus tour? Spotting the jam-packed public bus (it was like morning rush hour in Tokyo!) on the way back only confirmed that going for the chartered bus was the right call.
If you can reserve a room, yes that would be the best option. But since you’ll need to make a reservation at least three months ahead, I am providing a solution to those who weren’t able to book a hotel.
Hello i have plan to visit ginzan onsen in Jan next year, can I still book the tour If i come as solo traveler? Thank you for your vlog it help me a lot 🙂
Hi! I'm glad my videos are helpful. I don't know if they'll be doing the tour this winter (I'm pretty sure they will😊), but if I remember correctly, they didn't open reservations until about a month before the tour started. And yes, you can book a spot as a solo traveler!
Hi Connie, thank you for this video! My family and I are planning to do this tour but we are coming from Yamadera Station. Would you able to give us tips on how to get to this hotel please? Very much appreciated!
Hi! Thanks for watching the video and... are you visiting Yamadera? It really is a fantastic place to visit! I actually work with Yamaderans, offering English guided tours there. You might find this interesting as well; here's the link for more details: www.yamaderakankou.com/yamadera.japan/ Regarding your travel from Yamadera to Takinoyu Hotel, you have a couple of good options: 1. Take a taxi (about 20 minutes, approximately 4000 yen). 2. Take the train from Yamadera Station to Uzen-Chitose Station, then switch to the Ou Line headed for Shinjo and get off at Tendo Station (about 26 minutes, 330 yen for adults). From Tendo station, the hotel is either a 15-minute walk or a 5-minute taxi ride. Hope this helps, and happy travels!
Hi! You can take the Oou Honsen train from Yamagata station to Tendo station (20-minute-ride), and it’s about a 15-minute walk from there. Or you can take the D55 bus from Bus stop #2 in front of Yamagata station and get off at Tendo Onsen (40-minute ride). The bus stop is right in front of the hotel.
Well, that would be the hotels in Ginzan, but you'll need to book a reservation at least 3 months in advance. Someone said they found an Airbnb nearby, so that could be an option. Other than that, I think the nearest would be some of the hotels around Oishida station. Hope that helps!
