Baleno/Glanza has won the test of time and has sold over 7 lakh units and still maintains its top position. The build quality is not as good as Altroz but remember its platform is made such tat when an accident occurs the car may be broken but the passengers will be less affected. I felt Glanza's Engine and Drive quality was far better than Altroz. But comfort, features and rear seats were great in Altroz but let it win the test of time like its elder brothers Nexon and Harrier. Then it will really be great alternative against Glanza. But for the time being Toyota's Quality, Service and The Fab car wins. Glanza is supremely comfotable in its rides but lacks many features. I hope that Altroz will win it's test. NB - I bought a Glanza after having a great study this June 2020 but now also feels that if the Altroz JTP was there I would have definitly Bought that.

bought the gold standard xz petrol, it's the better in the segment for sure, looks, comfort, ride quality, handling, steering response, sure footed brakes, high speed confidence, etc. it's got adequate power when needed with a right knowledge of shifting gears according to rpm, and if one need performance power then go and get the diesel or turbo petrol altroz which is few months away from launch.

Altroz has the best looks , most features , best build but the performance is a big let down especially the initial gears till 2000 rpm are dead and feels laggy and noisy after you rev it hard , whereas baleno has good comforted drive and way more good in driving than the altroz , even found it to be more spacious and heighten seating , just the build quality is a question mark in terms of safety , but mileage also best in class

Altroz because it’s more safe but really close because Altroz doesn’t have a great engine according to what people say. The k12 is just another gravy for hatchbacks in India.

The Altroz is a great car, but I decided to buy the Baleno. Just want to outline what my purchasing decision was based on! 1. I want a hatchback and there was no budget constraint. I could have chosen any variant, of either of these cars or the Jazz. But I certainly did not want to waste my money. 2. I chose Baleno Zeta as the incremental value of Alpha was not value and I could easily give up the feature. Maruti had Onam discount + Covid induced consumer offer, so got a good discount - Around 28K! so it turned out that the comparable variant of Altroz was around 25K expensive (XT Petrol) 3. A lot of people like the looks of Altroz, but somehow it did not work for me! 4. Altroz is a safer car for sure, but the 5 star rating was with side curtain airbags, which is not available in India, Also, we do not use child seats and even seat belts in the rear seats, so saftey is not as high as claimed. The frot seat safetey is around the same for both cars provided both passenger wear seatbelts Features 5. What is favor of the Altroz: Cruise control, reverse parking camera, follow me headlamps, cooled glovebox and a superior warranty, but I could by a better warranty (for 14K) and a reverse camera (4.5K) with the money I saved in the Baleno - only deal breaker is the cruise control. For a person travelling only in Kerala I did not have any opportunity to use it anyway! 6. What is in favor of Baleno: The XT model had steel rims whereas the Baleno Zeta had better looking alloy wheels - this was a deal-breaker! Baleno also had break-assist, telescoping steering adjustment, adjustible rear headrests, driver seat height adjustment, 60/40 seat split, rear wiper, rear defogger, chrome door handle, body coloured ovrm, LED projector lamps, a better information display etc.

ALTROZ is a fine car, just buy it and drive it without any fear. BALANZA is good, but I feel sad for the poor sheet metal quality which does not protect internal parts of the car.

Customers and reviewers have been crying out for a 4 cyclinder petrol motor !! Why not Tata Why not??? I too own a tiago the engine is not under powered but it bleeds power quickly after braking and needs revving to gain speed i mean it requires some effort and down shifts to catch up speed and there is that 3 cyclinder clatter. Please introduce a 4 cyclinder petrol with direct injection!!

Being a Tata Tiago top model owner,I must say Tata had improved by leaps and bounds.The host forgot to mention the most important feature ,cruise control which is not offered by either baleno or glanza .Most of the hatchback now and before don't have the cruise control function,correct me if I am wrong

Hello Help needed !!!! I had booked Tata Altroz XZ petrol on 18th of July 20 and paid 50k as advance for a negotiated price of 8,29,700 rupees in Bathinda. I have chosen silver color & as it wasn't available at that time the dealer gave me a date of Aug. 30th. But now the price (just 2 days back) has increased by 15k & dealer has informed me that my negotiated price will increase too. Personally, I think it is unfair of the dealer to charge me the extra amount as I had booked the car on the earlier date (similar thing happens while booking a flat too..if we book at start of a project, price is less and at time of possession (2 -3 yrs time when the project gets completed) full payment isn't made on prevailing market price but the price negotiated during booking.) Having stated my point, I would like to know the auto industry practice on such an issue & your viewpoint too. Your help is very much needed.

Toyota Glanza is a pappad of Suzuki newly branded in Toyota's cover. Whereas Tata Altroz is super strong and got 5 star rating in Global NCAP Crash test . Actually companies like Suzuki , Toyota, Honda, Hyundai are affraid to take their cars for Global NCAP crash test.

Without any comparison I would choose Tata Altroz. Simply because I hate this lazy attitude of Toyota of just changing the badge. It’s totally laziness from the top manufacturer of the world . If cars like glanza succeed this would give opportunity to other foreign player to just replace badge of successful car models in India. It was ok till sunny/scala, duster/tereno, micro/pulse but baleno/glanza is outright laziness.

Baleno aur i20 ka ground clearance 170mm hai. Altroz ka 165mm ?? Bhai 5mm ka difference hai. 0.5cm. 1 cm ka bhi aadha difference hai. Kya hi kar lega 1/2cm ??? Gadi bahot acchi hai. Performance bhi badhiya hai. Diesel maine chalaya hoon awesome hai wo.baleno aur i20 se bhi better lagi mujhe. Polo se 19-20 ka fark hai. Diesel engine bahot refined hai, polo se bhi jyada. Normal driving ke liye petrol bhi badhiya hogi mere calculations se, lekin fir bhi problem ho toh turbo petrol ke liye rukho. Gadi chalane mein bahot stable hai, polo waali feeling aati hai, aur ride quality suspension bahot badhiya hai. Tyre noise hai, kharab raasto par. Lekin agar audio system on ho toh problem nahi hoga. Horn thoda piddi sa hai dual tone hone ke baad bhi. Seats cushioning kam hai, even tiago se bhi kam hai. Lekin theek hai. Front seats badhiya hai. Bahot mote logo ke liye thoda side support ke wajah se problem ho sakti hai. Rear seat bhai awkward hai. Under thigh support kam hai. Agar ghar mein maximum height 5,6 se jyada hai piche baithne waalo ke liye toh thoda uncomfortable ho jaayega long journey mein. Leg room bahot hai. Rear seat mein roof bhi bahot niche hai. Lekin 5,9 ka banda baith sakta hai aaram se. Showroom mein gadi piddi si dikhti hai, kyunki waha nexon aur harrier bhi khadi rahegi. Lekin trust me gadi bahot badi hai dzire se bhi badi hai.

New Hyundai i10 grand nios is best in segment because it has more leg room at the rear passenger seat, good looking interior, it as more features than the other cars in this segment, engine is quiet refined and smooth. It has exciting features like wireless charging first in the segment, rear AC vents and many more. It is also the best city car and stable in highways. Value for money package.
