Patara, I worked for ACP for low income families to get 30.00 off the internet. Well to get this 30.00 you had to send in proof of your income or if you have an EBT you had to show your amount. Well I would open an application I seen passports for Mexico in the amount on EBT 5,459.00. I opened an application from a 78 year old woman living in Michigan she only got 10.00. Now it wasn't once, twice, it was everyday for over 2 year's. Biden gave 6 BILLION dollars for this program. I seen all this amount of EBT to illegals, they get Social Security, Medicaid, all free. I was so sick to see what an AMERICAN gets and what illegals get. It makes you just sick!

Our country is out of control! The world is out of control!! Father God is in control 🙏

My husband’s spoke with a lady in California. She was shopping at Walmart and noticed a Hispanic man by the door eyeing two teen girls walking around. What caught her eye was him on a walkie talkie. She noticed another man with one as well. She went to the girls and asked if they were alone. They said their mother was in the store. She had the mother paged and they called the cops. The men booked. When they watched the surveillance cameras, they were parked by the mother’s car. Be safe guys!

I have lived in my own depression for over 45 years. Don't have a credit card or bank account. Never have and I do just fine. I've always managed on very little. I do have nice things but they take forever to get. But I have no dept and owe no one. I have lived my whole life on paycheck to paycheck. For yrs I lived off of 8,000 a yr. The people that know me can't even fathom that. I did that taking care of 2 people. I have had it rough and at times had to make many sacrifices. I lived at one time without electricity or water. I'm doing a little better now but yes I do see it getting much worse. In my experience you make it off of what you can and make due with what you got. Even if thats just a tent it'll do. No matter where we are at in this fallen world Just trust in Jesus. Love All And God Bless.

When men are out in public we all need to watch and make sure women and kids are not being hunted. Creeps come in all shapes and sizes but my country intuition can usually pick up on the ones to watch. Women need to be ready and able to defend themselves but let me say this. If a lady screams out in a crowd whoever is close to her is not gonna just slip back in the crowd. I'm gonna find out what the problem is. As a dad and husband I'm tired of foreigners targeting our women. Men get your head out of the phone and look and watch discreetly and respectfully for these predators and be capable of handling them.

Yesterday, I had to pick up a prescription at Wal-Mart. Within 5 minutes, I noticed a set of 3 Middle Eastern men in the store with no carts or items. Approximately 2 minutes later, there was a separate set of 4 (same origin), again no cart or items. I live in a small rural area, but sort of a "tourist" town. I am constantly aware of who is around me, and I make a point of looking people in the eye. That seems to catch them off guard. As well as make them uncomfortable. However, that is a reminder to me that a "quick" run to the store for any reason alone is NOT a good idea. Thank you for reminding us to be prepared for all potential situations.

Patera, I totally believe everything happened to this woman. I was "walked up on" at a Walmart. After I "handled" it, they scattered. A man walked up to me said he was going to jump in to assist me but saw I had it handled. It's really happening!

Ohio here! I went to the grocery store last week! There was a lot of men walking around alone! No cart, no food in their hands and my little voice in my chest went to alert mode! I found two of them watching me. I Turned around and looked at one. I stopped shopping and headed to the cash register. Noticed two of them in different lines. Buying a candy bar! Wasn’t sure if I was over acting. But when my inner voice warns me! I listen to it!

Patera I saw reports and security photos from areas in Southwest Virginia where middle eastern men (dressed as such) going into peoples barns and checking out their livestock and horses. This is very alarming.

Thank God that young woman knew her stuff. It’s a crazy world.

Canned 8 quarts of peaches today and planted another 50 lbs of seed potatoes.

Tonight, we ate all fresh vegetables from the garden: tomatoes, grilled squash, cucumbers, and corn. No meat.

My kids hate that I wear a fanny pack. But I have to have my hands free, just in case.

When my daughters family went to a local home improvement store last week, a woman purposely held up a kitten to my 6 yr old granddaughter. My daughter was by her side and her husband was a few steps behind. When the kitten holder saw my Son in law, she back off and a man that was off to the side suddenly grabbed a cart to go inside. Stay alert people and keep our loved ones safe.

One of my sons told me that he has decided to start "prepping" and was asking advice on storing some foods for long term. Amazing. We have to keep saying helpful things to our children and praying for them to wake up. I've been teased and mocked, but who did this son ask about food storage when he finally saw the wisdom in it? He's not poking at or judging me now. Can't rest on my laurels over this...there are still a lot of people to help wake up and those who do will need help getting up to speed.

Our daughter is a 3rd degree black belt, 2x US full contact champion, and won medals in 2 world competitions. Now a mom of 2 children she is very glad for knowing how to defend herself and family. Her greatest lesson though is: BE ACUTELY AWARE OF YOUR SURROUNDINGS. Surprise attacks can take down the strongest person. That's NOT paranoia. It's the exact same thing soldiers do in the midst of battle. Life changed dramatically and you can't put your guard down for a second. Be ready for anything. Even a pen or car keys secured between your knuckles can be very effective in defending yourself.

I was in the Walmart parking lot and after getting in my car a man pulled up behind my car blocking me in my parking spot. He claimed that I had damage on my car. I locked my doors and barely rolled my window down 2” and started yelling at him (like a New Yorker 😂” ) saying, “Get out of my way I am late. Move! I have to get out! I kept yelling and making a loud scene until he gave up and pulled away. PS no damage on my car….

I'm 67. Around 15 years ago, I was walking on the side of a suburban road with gravel shoulder and no sidewalk. I saw 3 boys on bikes. They were around 12 years old. I realized they were going to harrass me. When one of the bullies came toward me on his bike, I grabbed his wrist and told him to bug-off. He was really startled, as were his buddies. They immediately left me alone. I am always ready to go full-out crazy, screaming and punching, if anyone tries to harm me. i am also extremely self-aware, as I know as a senior, I am an obvious target. Thanks, Patara, for all your wisdom. Trying to get prepared in all ways, but Jesus is our ultimate Savior!

My husband tells me every time I go "to town" to be watchful and keep my head on a swivel. Our granddaughter goes back to college in August 3 states away. Scares the bloody HELL out of us! She's very smart but she's also naive about some things. We keep telling her to keep her head on a swivel, too. I pray for her every minute of the day!

I came out this morning to an expolsion of my giant roosters feathers im gonna miss MrDrumsticks. He was a really good boy. Protected the girls. Im gonna miss him running toward me when he saw me. Loved giving him cool treats. He was loved. Thank You Lord for the little pleasures.❤😢

Ugh, I try not to go out alone anymore ,I need a hip replacement, and unless I have a pew pew , I need my conceal carry. I do not feel safe.Trying to get this into my girls' and their friends' heads.

I have a 420 square foot garden in my backyard. Last year, the crop dusters didn't shut off fast enough and sprayed my garden. I lost everything. 😢 This year, I had just got the garden planted and it was like monsoons coming down for weeks at a time. Drowned a lot and the grass grew I couldn't get in it to weed because it was a mud hole 😢 Then it's like they flipped a switch to high heat and high humidity. I've lost all my tomato plants, my bell pepper and jalapeno pepper plants have stunted. Green beans are dead but I am getting cucumbers. I keep trying ❤

When we went to walk home from the Boardwalk in Santa Cruz in Southern California a police officer made it sternly clear he was going to give us a ride back to our motel because he said we would not make it back if he didn't give us a ride because of all the gangs and trafficking. That was about 9 years ago. Scary

Both my adult children are now living at home because their rent went up to 1800 a month in an old apartment in an old area in South Carolina!!! So at 60, I'm helping with babysitting my 16 month old precious granddaughter. I never would have thought this possible! They hate this economy and feel bad. But Jesus will work it all out because he is my savior, and I trust in him!!! Praying God gives America grace!!!

I had to go to Walmart with my 16 month old great granddaughter. I’ve kept in mind all your suggestions to stay safe. When we finished our shopping I asked for a worker to help me out and to wait until I had the baby all buckled in. He acted put out for doing that but I did give him a small tip and helping me. I live in a small small town and it can happen here. I always paying attention.

Homemade electrolyte recipe: 1/2 cup tart cherry juice concentrate(Knudsen organic if possible), 2 1/2-3 qt water, 1/2 tsp of Celtic or pink sea salt, 1/2 cup honey, and juice of 1 lime. It does help if you are exerting yourself on a hot day. Hope this is useful.

It has become so scary with my husband and me. We aren’t in shape. He is disabled since he was 47. He’s almost 67. I’m soon to be 73. We didn’t plan well.. had our home paid for . Sold it and put up new 13yrs ago on family farm. Now have mortgage. Health Insurance is awful… I listen to everything you say. I’ve tried to build up our pantry but unfortunately ow I’m using more out of it. Have no dollars to replace. Never ever thought our older years would be so hopeless. I have a garden that I have worked really hard in but feel I’m doing alot of work with poor results. I never thought that I would EVER not want to go shopping. But as I have become a senior citizen the mere thought of leaving the house just grinds my nerves. Since Covid I have chosen to utilize home delivery for staples and basics freeing up my time and energy for bargain shopping. When I do go shopping I take my adult son or grandchild. Never leave your purse unattended. Many times I just take my credit card and keys and leave the purse in the trunk. Pockets are the greatest invention! Ladies keep your cell phone in your TOP pocket along with your card and your keys laced in between your fingers. May you never have to use them to defend yourself.

It's so true. I was in a situation like that 3x- in different states and different places. It is crazy because you need to be sooo aware of your surroundings. For instance- I was walking 2 fully grown dutch shepherds in Perrysburg, Ohio and a guy in a truck still tried to take me. He was not deterred by the dutch shepherds people. I was falsely reliant on them thinking I was safe. Perrysburg used to be a very safe town- no longer. Be aware wherever you go.

For those who can not are will not carry a firearm, consider getting a Byra. It is a non lethal weapon that shoots hard plastic balls and C02 balls. It will not kill anyone, but you can slow down an attacker/ cause them enough pain to let you get you away. They do not require a license/permit.

I'm a homesteaders in Maine, Boardering NH. My wholr life I've lived here and never have felt unsafe. In the past MONTH I personally was in a situation where friends and I had 10 kids in the front yard playing while my mom friend and I went for a walk down the road.(other adults were inside the house) when we came back there was a carparked infront of the house with two non English speaking Mexicans in it. When the adults approached they tried to say they were looking for a flagging company and took off. They had plates from out of state. Then a few weeks ago in the same town and Woman had a strange man block her long drive way with his car and walked up it when she asked him what he was doing he asked if she wanted company. She called the police and ran back home. Then I saw a story from old orchard Beach where there was a guy filming and taking pictures of kids. He lunged for a five year old and a mom blocked him. He yelled I'm not a pedophile and ran away. I have three boys 7, 5, and 4 months old. I HAVE NEVER SEEN ANYTHING LIKE THIS IN MAINE. We are very concerned here in Maine with what we are seeing.

Consider a greenhouse with all the planes and trails...the soil isn't growing the food we need. So much in short supply.
