Our Journey! How did we get here?
In the winter of 2019 we moved in to our self built van full time to begin living, working and travelling Canada. We quickly fell in love with chasing our dreams of adventuring off the beaten path, living off grid and being self sustaining. We drove our van thousands of miles through various countries-Canada, USA, Mexico & Guatemala. All of which we documented here on our channel, be sure to check that out! After many years on the open road we found ourselves 15 acres of remote woods of Canada where we are building a homestead and renovating our fully off the grid cabin. We are diving into this chapter of our lives in no experience, we're so happy we can bring you all along as we learn to do it all with our own two hands. i have just watched the entire video of your journey to complete your dream cabin. I cannot tell you how proud and amazed at your determination, hard work and the love between you two in completing your journey. I'm a 67 year old woman who was in the construction industry for about 40 years. Not in the doing, but the managing of the projects from start to finish. I'm retired now and live in the Bahamas with my husband (who is still in the construction industry). He is a master carpenter. I think what you have accomplished is amazing! I can't do much these days because of mobility issues, but am in awe of how hard you have worked and what an amazing job you did. I remember when each of the improvements took place and watched the video; I've been subscribed for a lot longer than the cabin purchase. It was good to get an overview of how far it's progressed. Nicely done!

I cried rewatching all the hard work,blood, sweat & tears you both put into making the cabin HOME. You never gave up you never gave excuses if something didn't work you just fixed it.
