He may not necessarily have bought no belts but obviously it’s time for him to quit. I am his big fan but going by the way he fights now, he can’t beat Usyk, Fury, Dubois, Parker, Bakole and even Kabayyel. So he belongs to nowhere presently in my opinion. He needs to save his face and just take an honorable walk except if he’s ready to hit and be ready to be hit
He’s actually not finished in terms of what we’ve seen so far unless he’s deteriorated even more after that beating. Before the Dubois loss he was still stylistically capable of beating guys who stand off so he can pick them off like he was doing in the past 4 fights but young aggressive pressure fighters he’ll struggle with.
Good call mate, I honestly can't see why it is being billed as a fight the British public want....we don't!!..... and NO I will not be watching it. Infact I'll probably watch all the fights on the card if it happens but switch over for that one.
As a Scotsman and a Josh Taylor fan I still feel for Catterall after that first fight. Guy was stitched up. Credit to him beating Prograis and credit to Prograis for showing class 👌
So AJ who apparently fights “ anyone innit” has ducked Dubois after ducking Fury and Wilder for years hahaha. Still ended up with 4 losses. Game changed 😂😂😂
I don’t feel a rematch is a duck when he was happy to fight the first time and got dealt with brutally. He’s already took his beating. Dubois was the champ remember. A rematch is only a duck when the first fight was controversial and they shy away from doing it again. Whittaker Vs Cameron for example needs a rematch.
@@ShahanAhmed-h5la far cry from AJ and his team thinking they were cherrypicking Dubois and didn’t even treat him as a champ. I agree AJ isn’t worthy of a rematch but if AJ doesn’t take the fight again, he should retire.
I’ve never known a boxer more undeserving of a rematch than AJ against Dubois. The challenger for a start, got absolutely annihilated and they’re going off the fact that he caught Dubois once (which made him move back two paces) as justification for a rematch. Boxing is laughable sometimes.
If promoters dropped this ridiculous keeping the record clean fighting cans mentality once they are established it would be so much better for boxing. A loss is not the end of the world if it’s the best fighting the best!
AJ was on the road to undisputed, it never happened and will never happen. There are a lot of boxers he still beats, but what's the point? If he rematches Dubois it will be the exact same again, Dubois is heading towards a rematch with Usyk 100%.
AJ doesn’t deserve the title fight next regardless and he shouldn’t even get a say over the matter, DDD was the champ is still the champ and now should defend against the mandatory number 1 or 2, but AJ shouldn’t be anywhere near this conversation.
AJ will swerve the banana skin that DD ended up being to fight TF for a crack at the belts and a hell of a lot more money, that make the most business sense, but we all know DD probably deserves it not him.
Anthony didn't have a rematch clause but Francis did with fury, that's why you prompted the drugging of Ngganou in the Anthony bout to misdirect attention away from the fact that Ngganou would likely smash olexander, fury and Anthony easily. Cheaters, playing favoritism is why you have been relegated to watching soap opera like fixed fights.
Team AJ trans: 3D KOs AJ again so better for AJ to gamble on Fury beating USYK.. and if he doesn't AJ will want to fight Fury as that makes £££££££££££££s. No more AJ 'three time' belt attempts as a 'true priority' - just get a mega - cash fight with someone unlikely to KO you ; ) Lol.
