Are banks etc. not using ripple to settle payments already? I think there are parts of the payment system using blockchain already, using ripple net and the private ledger for settlement, 🤔

As usual, I find a lot of reporting on US and UK regulations regarding XRP and other crypto assets. What I miss is corresponding reporting for the EU and its member states' regulations.
I wonder how many XRP holders will drop out and give up knowing that it will be a further two and a half years before the "flip the switch" moment comes. hey Lewis I've been following xrp/ripple for last 3/4 years, myself like many many others were probably under impression that xrp/xlm/a few others just happened to comply with iso20022 thus making them iso compliant looool how wrong we all was if we thought that was the case..... I recently found out that the iso20022 was actually implemented to allow certain types of cryptos not the other way round. looool the single main purpose of changing to iso standard is to allow attachments within the message which already has more characters to allow smart contracts but that enablement of allowing the attachments of cryptos is how all of this is possible, so again for many years I've believed that certain cryptos just happened to be iso compliant where in reality the iso standard was introduced to allow these exact certain few cryptos to be used in new financial system... Bretton woods doesn't work anymore in capitalism
The central bank of Russia definitely piloted xrp. I'm not a brilliant researcher. I'd imagine my search was something like "russia xrp" and there it was on Google. It was a doc from back in 2016, or 18.
