That's very different to starting in a quarter final isn't it. Particularly with international players you've not played with before. It's a daft situation to put yourself in.

What a rubbish comment. You don't know what's going on behind closed doors or his fitness state. Of course he's not going to be 100% match fit, bit he's not going to get minutes on the pitch picking his nose now is he? Personally if he was training well, which I understand he has been for a week now, I would start him and bring a sub on if need be, otherwise you risk bringing him on and and then having to replace him which wastes an extra sub. Starting is worth a gamble to more balance on the left side.

Yeah play luke shaw no playing time. and the problem is he will give his all and probably get injured again then what . Big Mistake taken 3/4 Right Backs to the tournamount dont you think .please play the players in their best and natural positions and get the balance right and ditch your damn two holding midfielders you only need 1 we need to attack attack and not sit deep get wingbacks on the pitch to get crosses in the box fast flowing football and not defensive if we concede a goal who cares as long as we win it dont matter if its 3 1 5 2 siting on a 1 nill lead does not work and never will work we will just loose again just like your history before please learn from your mistakes
