Can’t wait for GA Surfer to open on opening day next year. But at least the park president was honest on why the coaster was delayed to next year unlike SFGAdv
Thanks for this update! As excited as we are about the ride, I'd rather have you guys get it done correctly and safely than rushing it and having another Top Thrill 2 scenario! Look how that rush job turned out! "Hey, let's hurry and get the ride open! Who cares if we kill someone as long as the internet trolls don't bully us online!" Great job and great decision to delay it until next year to make sure it's safe with very little down time!
I don’t think top thrill 2 was rushed it was testing for longer than any other 2024 coaster I think just a serious of unforeseen events and etc have popped up that isn’t any ones fault that is leading to current problems. These rides aren’t perfect and no madder how good or Bad a manufacturer is problems and issues are just going to randomly pop up out of know where at the most random points of time and there is not much these parks can do
Is there a video for the whole conference or is there some video on the oficial channel. I would love to hear all of the other updates for everything else
Excuses on excuses they just can’t get it together and have no interest in getting their stuff together. I can guarantee 100000% this will not open on opening day. Cedar fair has also been doing this too. I mean look at montezooma’s revenge and camp snoopy at Knott’s.
They also do this so they can just put off any future development. “Well since the new for 2020 ride is technically now the new for 2024 ride we don’t have to make any other improvements or additions for a looooong time.”
@@spenny1macissues happen problems pop up In wich as stated in the video cause delays with nothing they can do, I highly doubt it’s a lack of interest from them to get it up and running and just as they stated issues and problems causing delays in which are out of there control problems happen and will continue to happen no matter how good or bad a manufacturer is or one of these companies are nothing is prefect and problems that can’t be controlled pop up
@@Duffster115 if this was an anomaly I’d believe it. But considering six flags and Cedar fair have a track record of doing this nearly every time, I sadly don’t think it was all because of circumstances out of their control and probably more about not wanting to spend money.
@@Duffster115 again pointing to knotts camp snoopy as an example which almost the entire project was scrapped due to “logistical challenges out of their control” but as someone who has worked at knotts for years we all know it’s because they don’t want to spend money
