Karma and reincarnation are accepted beliefs of all Indian religions namely Hinduism, Buddhidm and Jainism while these beliefs are not accepted by Christianity, Islam etc. According to these beliefs your present birth is a result of your good and bad deeds in your previous births and your next birth will be decided by your present deeds and your past deeds, ie karma. Even though as a Hindu I believe this is true, lecturing that this is true to a gathering of students and teachers of different faiths and beliefs in a public school is not proper and cannot be accepted. In my opinion, Underage students are easily influenced, and while spirituality offers many good and useful teachings, Mahavishnu's words about *marujenmam* (reincarnation) are completely misleading. This belief could cause students to view differently-abled individuals, people with diseases, or those who are suffering, whether outside or within their own families, as sinners from a past life (*pona jenmam*). Instead of seeing them this way, we should focus on helping those who are suffering rather than judging them. Such a mindset can negatively impact students and harm our future.
Which religion doesn't cause it? Every religion justifies the problem of evil with past and after life or past action of the same life. Almost every single one. In my view children's atleast till they are 12 to 14 years should not be taught any religion in schools or other organizations. In some countries theory of evolution is taught in religious context or banned completely. Targeting one religion is politics.
