Another Chargers fan here to tell Jets fans you will LOVE Mike Williams when he's on the field. His only bugaboo is the injuries that keep him off the field. But he will fight for every ball thrown his way, and he usually wins. He dominates DBs, not just the so-so DBs, he will dominate your opposition's best DBs, even the Pro-Bowlers and All Pros. I've seen him do it many times. He's also a really good guy, easy-going, not an intense personality like his intense play on the field might indicate. We will miss him for sure.
@@HarrisonHollers that's what I'm led to believe seeing the picture of him and Jim harbaugh shirtless playing catch and Joe Hortiz saying he could be one of the best receivers he's ever scouted
@@relaylogistics5819 I’m hearing Nabers is better than Marvin. Or Jim could draft Bowers since that’s his style of play. I always liked the Chargers; Jets at 1 PM EST and Chargers at 4 PM. Best jerseys in football those powder blues.
@@jonhenrychris6973 LT - Tyron Smith (3x All Pro, 8x Pro Bowler) LG - John Simpson (2 sacks allowed all year for Baltimore) C - Joe Tippman (Phenomenal center) RG - AVT (Elite lineman with All-Pro ceiling) RT - Morgan Moses (Great season in Baltimore) Gotta pay attention my guy.
Exactly! They promised him that kind of support; Douglas and Saleh never delivered; and they blamed him for everything that went wrong with the team, specially the fanbase and the NY press.
@@TheHighlanderprimeabsolute m0ron, the jets gave Wilson tons of great players to work with and he failed. It’s 100% Wilson’s fault he failed, NOT the Jets.
I was reading a few comments on other utube outlets, they say Mike williams is hurt alot, yeah well, go figure, you see this incredible Athlete, i think 3 passes were easy catches in his highlights, omg every catch the guys 4 ft of the ground, just throw the ball in his direction and he'll bring it down, incredible not sure hes a # 2 WR , i think the Jets have two # 1 WRs, good for Williams coming to the jets and great job GM Douglas, very quietly grabing, i believe every position the jets needed A+ for not F,,, around.
I heard the dude was someone you just throw it up to but dang, less than a handful of plays with any YAC, 95% of these highlight catches are just throw and pray, he'll find a way
How many games did he start last year? How many the year before that? Same as dude from Dallas, great highlights, limited availability (and i'll tell you a secret, that probably wont improve w/ age).
Was just thinking something similar. He did that exact throw to Wilson in the preseason game against the Giants and "filthy" is the perfect word: 1:07 - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-29HRu5HSWKY.html
we got that with garrett and even gibson at the slot, it is just the qb and oline weren't doing there ends, but now we should be able to see all these offensive players shine if healthy
@@jetsbabyy8117 Sigh... Receivers are easier to get than starting Left Tackles. Smith might move on after 2024 and the Jets need to be ready for that. But I guess we will wait and see what JD does once the draft comes. Good signing with Williams here though.
Mike Williams has some of the most insane body control and catch radius we've EVER seen. Unfortunately his health is also some of the worst. From a Rams fan here's to a healthy season for Mike and the Jets, go and win that AFC East 🐏
the only Reason we have to make these moves is because other than 2022 JD has whiffed on every draft class. Becton, mims, Moore all misses and the reason we had to make all these high risk high reward moves. Great pivots by JD but let’s not be prisoners of the moment.
I love herbert but these were prayers. And amazing catches. Don't forget the like tripple spinning reverse diving one handed toe tap catch in double coverage that freaked out the whole league. He just has body control you don't see much anymore and alot of drive to make plays
@@prestigeshogun1534 F no, Lazard can take a walk off a short pier or anywhere off the field w/ his drops & Gipson's a great special teamer who can sneak open or around the corner. We need receivers that can get open, that dont drop, that show up every sunday. This guy was bigtime last decade (same as Austin) but has spent 2 years questionable or doubtful missing more than he played. Remember Duane Brown last year? That doesnt help.
Jets fans had to endure so many years of losing that they have selective memory....... We just watched the worst offense in nfl history with the absolute worst oline...... Until the jets fix the line ....its gonne be the same story again
@@jonhenrychris6973 nooo man, 3x All Pro and 8x Pro Bowler who’s allowed like 2 sacks in 4 years and the other guy who was incredible allowing 0 sacks last season are just horrible additions! Surely they are no better than Mekhi Becton or Max Mitchell!
@@prestigeshogun1534 who's playing rg....avt??? 2 years in a row out for the season??? You forgot how many lineup changes this team went thru the last 2 yrs on online? The jets need strong lineman plus depth... What good is Mike Williams if Rodgers is on the ground? I was there when he got hurt....4 plays....3 of those...he was under heavy pressure.
