This is merely a mock draft, but I could see this deal coming to fruition. Joe Schoen didn't draft Daniel Jones, J.J. checks a lot of boxes, and Big Blue can get out of Jones' contract after this upcoming season. I assume that this projection could make headlines in New York. That's fine. I know the Giants have been going through all of the quarterback prospects diligently, as they should be.

First of all if I were Joe Schoen instead of moving up and giving up draft picks I would have given up a sixth round pick and signed Justin Fields then I would have used the 6th pick for Malik Nabers. Then I would try to get one the offensive lineman in the second round! Maybe in the 3rd round I would try to get Rb Brealon Allen who's a perfect New York Giants type of Rb! 6' 1" 235 lbs! Now you have something on offense to build around!

I like JJ a lot, he’s much better than DJ, so I’d love if we draft him. And I have no problem with giving up 3rd this year and 2nd next year because that’s what you have to do to get a qb. Can’t just sit around and never give anything up to get a qb, and we certainly don’t have a starting qb in our roster so we kinda gotta do it now or never. It’s much better to trade up from 6 than from 12-16, so it really is now or never. I would also add that he is better than any qb in next years class, so even if we got the first pick next year, I wouldn’t want us to take any of the QBs available in next years class.

I am so conflicted! Here is why Giants picking 6th and Giants can really use a future QB because of Jones uncertainty and next year draft who know where in the draft order Giants will be picking and who know how many QB's that will be 1st round pick. So picking QB this year and giving up draft capital can seriously se back the Giants especially if the QB Giants select in first round does not pan out. Also Giant would be giving up drafting sure solid blue chip WR or OL and I have to wonder if Giants are better building a team before drafting a future franchise QB!

I really hope not. Too much unproven plus red flags with McCarthy. Too risky to use an early 1st round pick on. I'd be more ok with the Giants trading up to get Maye or Daniels but I can't get on board with McCarthy. If we can't get Maye or Daniels just go for Marvin Harrison Jr then try taking a new QB with the 2nd or 3rd pick.

Absolutely No!!! Tooo much. I want a trade with Minnesota. The 11th and 23rd. Then trade the 23rd for like a 28th and get a 3rd or 4th also. Use the 11th on the best QB or receiver on board. Then use the 28th on The best left after 11th pick QB/WR? And you still have your 2nd and picked up a Xtra 3rd or 4th.
