Is Saunabox a scam?
Saunas offer a range of potential health benefits, from relaxation and stress relief to improved cardiovascular health and reduced pain. The heat causes blood vessels to dilate, increasing circulation and potentially lowering blood pressure. It may also ease muscle tension and soreness, promote better sleep, and even improve lung function.
The SaunaBox SmartSteam Kit is a portable at-home sauna that uses steam to create a hot and humid environment. Here's a quick rundown of the key features:
• Easy to set up: The frame and insulated tent can be assembled in about 10 minutes.
• Heats up quickly: The steam generator heats the interior up to 130°F with near 100% humidity within 15 minutes.
• Safe materials: The SaunaBox is made with non-toxic materials and has a durable fiberglass frame.
• Controllable settings: You can adjust the heat and time settings for a personalized sauna experience.
Overall, the SaunaBox SmartSteam Kit is a convenient way to enjoy the benefits of sauna therapy at home.

I liked your review. I disagree with the heat not being enough, after 15 minutes inside mine I start making sure the zippers are within reach cause I feel like I can pass out at any second and desperately need to get out 😂😂. I am very impressed with my saunbox. I use it every night and sleep like a well fed baby afterwards. My mind feels relaxed and my body feels clean inside out after each use.

This is a great idea indeed if it was operating a the temperature where benefits are derived. Accorind to Rhonda Patrick optimal heat should be 176 - 194°F, noting that a particular study offer benefits with exposures of 174°F for at least 20 minutes. If Saunabox finds the way to crank up wet bulb temperatures to the above range we would be talking business. Great honest review Sir, keep up the good work.
@NoFate247
@NoFate247 4 месяца назад
yeah, trust me, I WANTED THIS TO WORK. Obviously 115 deg is hot but you're not getting the benefits you really want at those temps.
@mtrout3394
@mtrout3394 3 месяца назад
Thanks for the video. I think there's one really important factor that might be being missed. The heat is from steam, not from dry heat. Therefore "sauna" is really incorrect. It's actually a "steam room". WebMD states a steam room should be between 110 and 120 degrees for maximum effect as wet heat is different to dry heat (it says 160 for sauna). You said your findings were the sauna pod gets to 115......
@NoFate247
@NoFate247 3 месяца назад
You bring up a good point, although sitting in the sauna for 20 mintues+ and not feeling it get "hot" seemed like it told me enough in terms of not getting the effects. But I encourage others to try it and provide their feedback.

I agree with you @simplemanchannel - just got mine a few weeks ago. At level 5 it gets to about 108 but the steam is unreal! Granted it takes about 20 minutes to get there but once there after about 20 minutes I’m ready to jump out the window! Ambient temp is only mid-70s. @NoFate247 On your steam unit did you push the lid down and twist to lock it? If not, you lose most of your steam.

@@NoFate247 I think you have to realize that water carries more heat energy than air so even though the tent may get up to only 120-130 the humidity will make it feel like 170 due to the fact you have warm water on your body transferring heat.
@JonathanTurner1998
@JonathanTurner1998 Месяц назад
@@babb4214I’ve been looking around trying to see what people that sauna a lot say about these portable saunas. There has to be a difference in these and what other people use. I disagree, with most of what you said, I tried the $200 amazon deal below, and sent it back, paper thin canvas, and heater that is not as powerfull... barley got up over 95 degrees... The sauna box, does get up about 110 in my basement, and with the 100percent humidity, feels extremly hot, after 20 min in there my body is on fire, but you DO have to let it get up to temp before getting about 15 to 25 min. for $350 bux I do think it is a good value , but is not a 10k gym sauna, so do not expect that. The amazon cheapos... buy it and try it... you will see the difference for sure. They look the same on a computer screen , but they are pretty far apart.

Prefer my sauna at 180 degrees. Recomend a "Redneck sauna" an enclosed vehicle in the Texas summer ". Try a "Russian steambath " , a teakettle under a chair, you sit snuggy wrapped in a blanket over the kettle trapping the steam. Years ago I made Japanese Ofuro a wooden box you sit in with knees tucked, just add hot water. Simple plans are in an old Mother Earth News. Just took a sauna and steambath at YMCA, simple.
