I like the trees and the urban stuff. We do not have those trees in England. Also the weather can be boring in England...a lot of rain for the plants...I prefer the weather when it is warm and sunny like in this video.
never been here. Feels like walking through a fantasy theme park that doesn't exist, yet those are not paid actors and that is not a theme park. Definitely screams "materialism" as others have commented, which is eerie. Yet I wonder if that says anything authentic about the people in this scene or if it's just me projecting my own insecurities onto innocent people. Food for thought.
We visited this area on our honeymoon. It was materialism overload for me. But, still cool to visit and see all the gadgets and stuff. Couldn't ever live this way. Simple life for me. A small house, big shop, and lots of land in the country with the loudest sound being the birds or stream.
Absolutely agree. Golden words. Simple life, a lot of space, a bird singing. Fancy expensive car Louis Vuitton shoes etc. It's nothing at all. I supposed that only Russians love to shocking anybody. But American as well. So crazy.
I find it amusing how many people are just utterly consumed by their image, to the point that some look uncomfortable. The insecurities that you see in this video are quite amazing. Maybe 1-2 cats that had the proper strut and confidence going. Older, of course. The rest, they just look like NPCs walking around. Meat shells trying to justify their existence in the great social ladder dressing up in expensive designer stuff, handmade in sweatshops across south east Asia.

I lived there as a child in the 50's. There was a drugstore on Wilshire there that had a food counter where you could get icecream floats, and a place that specialized in orange julius. I loved the diner Van De Camps, the Carnation icecream restaurant that had these incredibly tall, thin palm trees, the May Company department store and the LaBrea tar pits (which ofcourse is still there) and some movie theaters that no longer exist. I've seen a number of actors there, Carey Grant, Robert Mitchum and James Stewart. It was less crowded then and it felt great to be a child there with the promise of many wonderful experiences to come. Also one should see the beautiful library there and the domed building in the vicinity.
@@Hassoun-g5o This is Beverly Hills, California in Los Angeles. West Hollywood is less flashy, with boutiques shops, great restaurants, less tourists, and beautiful neighborhoods. Melrose and Chateau Marmont (where celebrities go) are in West Hollywood. Nicer than BH, imho. But, I live there so I’m biased. BH is nice also.

Понимаешь что это все не сделает человека по настоящему счастливым. Ни деньги, ни богатство, дорогие авто , шикарные дома. Туфли и одежда от Виттон или Дольче. Все это мишура. С годами это все больше и больше понимаешь. С годами хочется покоя и совсем немного. Лично я хочу путешествовать…. Как говорится, какая разница, сколько стоят твои кеды, если ты гуляешь в них по Парижу 😂👍🔥 С годами просто начинаешь ощущать и понимать, что человеку для счастья нужно совсем немного…. Как-то Вы себе противоречите. Хочется покоя, но желаете путешествовать. Говорите не в деньгах счастье. Но, что бы путешествовать и гулять по Парижу нужны финансы. А уж в каких кедах, это вторично.
@@udus9653 ну так вот, для кого что важно, для кого то кеды виттон, а для кого то кеды за два рубля. Да и путешествовать сейчас можно и недорого , если все заранее продумать. Да и путешествовать ты не будешь год подряд!) да даже съездить недалеко от дома, смена обстановки уже играет роль! А как внутренний покой противоречит путешествиям?? Или про какой покой?))
@@udus9653 я имею ввиду внутренний покой, когда ты живешь в ладу с собой и внутри тебя полный штиль и гармония. Для этого не нужна никакая медитация и спокойная музыка. Вот именно путешествия это и драйв и движение, но в тоже время это и внутреннее удовлетворение и счастье. Короче, каждый чувствует по своему!)

Met my two sons at the Peterson Auto Museum on Sunday. Wilshire and Rodeo Drive was the busiest I have seen it since the pandemic started as I drove through it. Wilshire has a lot of construction on it as you drive to Miracle Mile look out for the road closure and detour that starts 28 April.
The status symbol for those who grossly overpay for items that are not necessary. I'm ok with a 50 dollar jeans and a 20 dollar t-shirt. I rather spend more on big items like my dream home or truck

I've seen a few of these walking around style videos, but I gotta say this is the first one that made me do a few double takes thinking it was some crazy realistic video game. So many of the people in this video, particularly the young girls who are posing or taking pics seem like NPCs and their only function is to be a stereotypical LA person.
