How has the month of May gone for you? Have you found anything exciting?! Also, can we talk how I forgot to mention my holy grail Prada bag in this video?! 🤣
May has gone great for me, I was able to to purchase two of my wishlist bags for less than retail and my birthday is May 30th, so I would say this year for the month of May was one of my best so far. My family is healthy, healthy habits are going strong and my husband and children bring me so much joy. Love the channel as always.
Caleb, your video was fantastic! Your passion and detailed descriptions of each item were truly inspiring. I also love collecting unique pieces, especially vintage housewares and jewelry. The pottery from Rowe Pottery and Rockdale Pottery you shared was beautiful; it made me want to learn more about them! Also, your Hermès scarf and the Coach Daphne collection necklaces are exquisite and unique. Looking forward to seeing more of your collections and shopping insights!
Love the scarf. I saw the horse school when they came to my home town (St Petersburg Fla) when I was a child it was amazing and unforgettable. A beautiful ballet
That scarf will surely look fabulous on you! Love the equestrian theme, so for me that's my favorite piece of your haul. There's an honorable mention though and that's the pot in the beginning. They used to traditionally make ones like this (the grey and blue colors and overall design) in parts of Germany. I have an antique one. It's beautiful, though much larger (it's our umbrellas' home). I find yours super cute!
Thank you so much! And that's really cool to learn more about the salt glazed pottery- I wish I had known that when we visited a few years ago. And a large version as an umbrella holder sounds fabulous!
Wow great haul!!! That scarf I would frame it’s so stunning! Love those Coach necklaces! The pottery is beautiful! The pitcher is amazing! Glad you found some great jeans, they will last a long time, great quality. Gosh I am bummed they discontinued the blotting papers, it’s a shame when companies discontinue an item you love. I’ll have to try the H lip balm, glad they have refills! May was a spendy month for me too, I had the cash so I had a little fun. 💗 oh I bought books too! Yours are so great!
Thank you, Laurie! The Coach necklaces were such a lucky find! My favorite products, foods, tv shows always end up getting canceled lol- I'm used to it at this point! I can't wait to see more of what you picked up- the mirror you shared was so cute!
Between Chicago and Milwaukee; one can find a lot of treasures. You scored one hell of a haul. I love the Hermes scarf and the Coach jewelry. I need to go to Milwaukee soon, along with spending the day in Chicago. I love going to the Art Museum and spending a few hours there, along with The Museum of Science and Industry. I let my inner 5 year old loose every time I'm there. 😁 If you haven't been to Long Grove, IL; you need to go there. Lots of cool boutiques and shops there. Walking around the village and window shopping is a fun way to spend the day. Lake Geneva, WI is a great place for a day trip, too.
Thanks for the tip on Long Grove! I'll have to go and check it out- I love cute small towns with good boutiques and shops. Lake Geneva is on the list to visit too!
That Art Book such a great deal! I have a crazy amount of coffee table books. Too many books not enough tables 😅 Levi's 501s are great jeans. The cotton and the weave is different now and you no longer need to sit in a bath of cold water with them on. That was in the days when you wanted your jeans to shrink and fit you like a glove. Not the best look right now. The thing to do is to give them a gentle machine wash in cold water, turned inside out with a tad of mild liquid detergent just to get the 'dressing' out of the fabric. It softens them up beautifully. Don't put them in a tumble dryer. Jeans lecture 101 over 👖 😂
Thank you so much for sharing these your great finds. I actually work at Levi's. I wouldn't recommend the method you mentioned on this specific style of 501's because the 501 '93 is pre-shrunk compared to the 501 shrink-to-fits. I would just wash as directed on the care label. 👖
Great haul Caleb! Congratulations! I wonder how close that fragrance is to BR 540, but for $26 you can't go wrong. That Hermès scarf is STUNNING. And the art book for $7.99 is CRAZY!!!!!! I collect fragrances, including vintage, and occasionally I'll find an amazing vintage for a fraction of what it's worth. It's a great feeling! Enjoy the rest of the weekend.
Okay, if you do decide to go to the pottery place, we definitely have to meet and go there and then do lunch or something!!! I LOVE pottery!!! I had no idea this was there!!! When I am in TN, I am consistently picking up pieces and had no idea about this type of finish!!! I am so excited for all of your great finds!!! The pottery has to be my favorite though!!
Thank you so much, Jame! And that's a deal! I think it would be fun to meet up and get some pottery and lunch together! I haven't been to TN since pre-c, but it's so much fun down there!
Caleb. I love thrift shopping. I have found so many excellent bargains. A lot of times I don’t think they know what they got. Cause they sale it so cheap. One time I got a bottle of Chanel blue cologne hardly used for 5 dollars. And a Bose radio 10 dollars.
