yes, and that is really awful. I can't find the 32gb ram version in the internet. And even I can't upgrade by myself. really bull shit. I am considering to return it. Do you have other better choice in this price?
Hi, mine is S5406 and there is like "covered" screw unable to remove so the bottom cover cannot be removed, moreover there is a glue between, how may I manage it?
Please help😅 Never had an OLED but sensitive too flickering light bulbs. It says Flicker Free but looks like it just can't be true for OLED. Looking forward to buy Vivobook S 15 OLED S5506. MyAsus app should have flicker free dimming, is it really working? Can you set your phone camera to lowest shutter speed and point on you laptop and change brightness (and play with flicker free dimming)? Is there any black lines running across the screen when you do that?
@@StRuTeNb ok no problem, when i go back from work to my home i will check this out for you. It should be after 8 hours from now. I will post you again
@@StRuTeNb at 1/1000 i can see my light bulb from standing lamp pulsating couple times per second, however when i watch my phone screen camera the OLED laptop screen doesn't flicker per see, it is more like drawing 3 cm high black lines which go from top to bottom of the screen, but they are "travelling" asynchronously and sometimes they are visible, but at most of the time they are not visible, thats on 120Hz setting. However at 60Hz it is more visible but not as lines but more like gradiental waves from top to bottom with frequency of one pulse per second. I did it also when my light bulb lamp was behind the laptop screen.
There is a 32GB ram option, plus with the option to replace the nvme ssd it will last for many more years. Also it has wifi 7 which is another future proof.
