With both the NEXUS and the Elite Series ECUs now compatible with the NSP Software, it is time to take a more detailed look at the latest Haltech tuning package. Over the next few weeks we'll be delving deeper into some of NSP's functions, but today we're starting with the menu tree. Got a question for Scott about the NSP? I downloaded the new software and cannot get on to my ESP online. i have to access to base maps and it keeps telling me (no connection found) my friend who is helping tune the car has a similar issue. help!!!!! pleasezzz!!!!
I'm running wires for boost sol, fuel pressure, IAT, e-content and wideband along with the hose for the on-board MAP on my Z32 twin turbo. PSYCHED to button everything up and get into the setup. Thanks to all of you for the help given both in the past and in the future!
This looks so awesome! Thank you Scotty! And rest of Haltech team. All the new features and design is so easy to understand and clear. I love the the graphical tips when showing wire colors. I dont know why, but these days I have never seen any company put so much love to their product.
@@craigrichardson2229 In the older software, it had things like that in the loading messages, much like Sim City and The Sims, yeah. Lots of easter eggs
Updated my Elite 2500 to use the NSP Software. Conversion is fast and everything run the same as old, except a problem in PC Datalog. I lost resolution in log occasionally. Sometimes it skips one or two seconds with no data point collected. And this happens one or two times per minutes of logging. Will there any software update in the future will fix this?
Hi Scott. Why is there still no table smoothing function in haltech? It is absolutely necessary. Everyone has it, even the shit-ancient mammoth Megasqurt. This is a very necessary feature, please add it. I can't imagine how you live without her! Every time I make Haltech tables, I'm angry!🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬
This is awesome, thanks Haltech team. Its nice to see Scott explaining all the feature here, even on 1 hour video i will watch that. Hope i can get one of Elite series and a car to put it in as soon as possible lol 😉
Be cool if there was a shortcut for a throttle blip and then ecu reset on DBW setups so it doesn't stall. Be handy on remote tuning setups. Or...is there anything wrong with this practice of manually giving it a rev before so it doesn't stall on ecu reset?
Platinum Series is still built, sold and supported so budget builds are still possible. But we've taken them as far as they can go, so you're right, there'll be no further updates on the Platinum series.
" supports all the Nexus platform ecu's" that is a statement of plurality... either you have not had a couple of Coronas or your hinting to some future drop of Advanced Tech.?.?😉
Hey Scotty, at 9.40 in the video you show the drop and drag so can have multiple maps on one screen tab, ive tried this so many times and it just doesnt work, cannot left click and drag a map, so its only possible to have one map on a tab showing at any one time. Also please show people how to open new tabs for tuning screens, and some of the preconfigured screens available, i only found this by accident. Data logging and how to use for data and tracing needs a bit more explanation, i find the data logs hard to use especially as the color choice for each channel is limited and the colors are not very well defined, so its difficult to tell what channel you are looking at without trying to decypher from the color labels. Also can gauges such as AFR be definable? AFR has a scale from minus 5 to plus 25, which is not a suitable number
I see you didn't mention user definable CAN. Is this not available with the NSP firmware update? I imagine it would make your products more appealing to those who are looking to upgrade their ECU, but need it to integrate into an existing network.
NSP is now compatible with Elite and NEXUS series ECUs. Unfortunately the Platinum Series hardware is not compatible with NSP so it remains with the ECU Manager
Unfortunately your latest esp will interduce a fault when converting to nsp it flips the pages between uploading and downloading and firmware is not being updated to ecu. So I went back one esp rev before and it worked. Hope you can fix that bug.
